There was chatter early in the season about Gus Malzahn's job status after loses LSU, Mississippi State, and Tennessee, but Auburn athletics director Allen Greene told Nathan King of The Auburn Plainsman on Tuesday that Malzahn will be back next year.


Auburn is currently 6-3, 3-3 SEC and in third place in the western division.
