“Student-athletes” haha they get paid to play a game. They have a long plane ride to get rested up. With the nfl scheduling WED games, they need to learn sometime.

Move the Georgia game from the 11am slot to 9:15pm. Problem solved and everyone is happy.

LSU had a similar issue in 2009, when we had to play Washington in Seattle and the game ended past midnight Central time...fortunately, we played Vandy at home the next week and not someone like Georgia.

Wasn't it the AD that scheduled a road game at Utah the week before the SEC opener?

Real solution - severance package and Arkansas hires a competent AD. He has done this to our program.

I'm guessing he doesn't want Arkansas back on Black Friday?

This is a stupid complaint. The week before, SMU plays a MONDAY night Labor Day game in Tallahassee, then plays a home game FIVE days later at 3:00 pm (against UC-Davis, but that doesn't really matter if the issue is the "welfare of the young men" and not competitive issues). We get that nobody likes 11:00 am games, but don't pretend that it's a safety issue. Would it really make that much difference if they pushed the kickoff time back a few hours?
