Richard Burkhart/Savannah Morning News / USA TODAY NETWORK
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer is reportedly hiring Georgia Southern offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Bryan Ellis as his new tight end coach.
The 35-year-old coach from Macon, Georgia, was a quarterback at UAB from 2007 to 2011 and began his coaching career with the Blazers in 2012 as a grad assistant.
He has made stops at Western Kentucky and USC before landing the offensive coordinator position at Georgia Southern in 2022.
Ellis will replace Joe Cox, who left Alabama this offseason, to be the tight-end coach at Ole Miss.
