Alabama announced last week that it will honor former coach Nick Saban by naming the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium after him.
quote:

The dedication of Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium will take place on Saturday, September 7 at halftime of the Crimson Tide's football game versus South Florida.

"We are humbled that The University of Alabama has honored us with the naming of Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium," said Saban. "The remarkable success that the football program has achieved over the past 17 years is a reflection of the hard work of many student-athletes, coaches and staff. Being leader of the process at Alabama has been the greatest privilege of my life. Terry and I are grateful for the naming of Saban Field, which forever celebrates our accomplishments."

Exactly. Everyone knows LDU's 2019 "win" over Bama was illegitimate due to Tua missing almost a month of practice which resulted in the sluggish start. Once he shook the rust off, he absolutely balled out and out performed the *Heisman winner.

Just think, if not for Tua's injury, the yellow and purple team that shares a mascot with 95% of all high schools across America would have had zero national titles and zero Heisman winners that season.

Sad. ***LDU

I think that history will say that he was the best to ever do it, I just wish he'd have done it @ LSU for those 17 years...
