At Bama you go to study football. All other pursuits such as academics are considered extracurricular activities. Money well spend when you look at from a Gump point of view.

Money well "spent" when you look at "it" from a Gump point of view... Your education seems to be serving you well.

Yeah, thanks to Saban who is always behind these type of ideas. He's the sole reason that LSU has the facilities that they have today, so something like this at Bama doesn't surprise me in the least with him.

What's insane about a 25,000 Sq. ft. cafeteria? It has some amenities specific to football but it's not like Gordon Ramsay is running it.

But I thought the players were starving ?

Only the producers get this kind of chow. RMFT.

This is overkill. A waste of resources. 25k sq ft is literally insane and unnecessary. Why keep pushing the bubble until it bursts? Simply put, this is not good business.
user avatar
ColoBama70 months
I agree. It would be bad for any program not named Bama.

I spent half my time in the bath room when I played ball back in my day because of all the food that they heaped upon us at the training table. I had a super high metabolism in my youth, so everything I ate came out immediately.
