Alabama Expected To Target Georgia DC Jeremy Pruitt To Replace Kirby Smart

The AJC.com is reporting that Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt will be in the mix for multiple jobs now that he will likely be out in Athens with the new hire of Kirby Smart.

If Pruitt does not land a head coaching position somewhere, one job opening that could make sense would be the available defensive coordinator position at Alabama now that Smart will be leaving for Georgia.

Smart is considered the top candidate to replace Mark Richt as Georgia’s head coach.
