Alabama Assistant's Mike Locksley's 25-Year-Old Son Was Shot & Died On Sunday

Alabama wide receivers coach and assistant offensive coordinator Mike Locksley’s 25-year-old son Meiko was shot and killed in Columbia, Md. on late Sunday night. He was found around 10:30 p.m. outside of his home, suffering from gunshot wounds, then taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma where he died. Head coach Nick Saban addressed reporters about the tragedy...

“On another note, Mike Locksley, our wide receivers coach and assistant offensive coordinator, had a family tragedy – his son was killed. I just want everybody to understand that our thoughts and prayers go out to Mike, Ms. Kia and the entire Locksley family over this tragedy. We’ll do everything that we can to support Mike and his family in this time of tragedy.”
