well if i can shoulder press what an MLB pitcher can I should be able to throw like them right? Most retarded fricking logic I have ever seen, right up there with most people in the gym can squat 300. :rotflmao:

I'm sorry bro, if you're 5'10 with an above average vertical and can squat 400 lbs you should be able to touch the rim.

not if is arm length and hand size is line with his height.

most NBA players, even the short ones, exhibit arm length that is much longer than the normal 5'10" person.

Most NBA players can dunk regardless I'd say 100% of those squatting 300 can dunk

These guys are beasts

And these

This is the kind of workouts that pro athletes that hire trainers do all the time. Most of them dont really lift.

MJ- the greatest of all time

Durant and Lebron

Not a single one of these guys can squat over 300 lbs arse to grass, nor is it important that they should be able to. They are 6'6"+, can shoot, rebound and run for endurance better than 99.9% of the population and squatting or deadlifting has shite to do with that. These guys have shoe contracts and are millionaires and are far more successful than any of us ever will be, and they don't have to squat or have never had to to do it, so why would they? Did yall see the Simmons/Blakeney workout video posted on youtube awhile back. They didn't touch a barbell. Simmons is about to be a top 2 draft pick and have a shoe deal. Why should he work to squat 300 lbs? That goes for the majority of them.

damn I would judge someone in the gym doing what MJ was doing. That shite is weak!

Only halfway legit thing he does is 95lb. behind the head barbell military press.

Ok. I was more going after your other posts that I didn't happen to quote like...
quote:

I'd say more than 50% of NBA guys can this day and age on the bases that I know a college S&C coach and their Bball guys do work

and
quote:

Durant couldn't bench 185 at the combine 2007 , There is a YouTube video of him benching 315 and its from 2010 , Assuming he does more than bench, I bet he can squat 300

I was kinda calling bullshite on that and your other posts throughout this. I mean, I can just look at Durant and tell you he cant squat 300. He prlly cant squat 185 arse to grass. My entire posts have been about NBA players don't workout, don't squat, cant squat 300, nor should they have to or need to to be good basketball players. It's certainly cant be more than 50% like you claim.

frick if you're going to do the rolling laughing guy at least read what I said

And that wasn't directed towards you, that was directed to how pathetic Lebron and Durant looked when working out.

Most people can.

It's the coming back up part that's hard.

haha yep.

honestly the feeling of having weight on your back and breaking parallel is a weird feeling. when you go completely into the hole like that its like you have lost control and the coming up seems like it is never going to happen. Despite what some are saying in this thread, this is an experience most will never have, even those that do "squats" because they have arse it.

A true arse to grass squat is a different experience. Same with a true 20rep widowmaker set.
