re: If the travel baller in your life has a birthday coming up - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 9:27 pm You posted little league
And of course there will be fights some where in the country. The simple statistics back that up. It’s always been like that though. Doesn’t means a normal occurrence and in LA they have cops at all the tournaments just for crowd control etc. in 6 years I have never ever ... re: If the travel baller in your life has a birthday coming up - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 9:25 pm Yea my 11 year olds team averages less than two walks per game, the other teams are the same.
If you are in BR go watch the super nit this weekend at traction for 12u or if in plaquemine go to bell view park and watch the 11u kids.
Will be some of the best teams in the country there. Got to w... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: If the travel baller in your life has a birthday coming up - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 9:18 pm Haha travel hockey parents are the worst and it’s the most expensive outside of rodeo or equestrian type stuff. shite is intense AF in the north east. re: 8-hour time-restricted eating linked to a 91% higher risk of cardiovascular death - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 9:10 pm It’s a study based on calling people and asking them about their diet lol. It’s cooralation at best…wouldn’t even call it that
To top it off,it looks to have been done by a Chinese university…don’t ever trust any fricking thing that any university from china puts out concerning diet. All propagand... Posted on Health/Fitness Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: If the travel baller in your life has a birthday coming up - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 9:01 pm Believe what you want but rec sucks and playing 12 games a year is not getting a kid ready. Seen plenty of kids not play travel and despite them being really good in rec, can’t even make aa teams at 10, much less aaa and majors.
Believe what you want. And I just said shouldn’t be traveling, just ... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: If the travel baller in your life has a birthday coming up - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 8:50 pm
Catholic is a good example of this, especially this year. They have, last I checked, 2 non- starter seniors that have been offered from college spots. We had 2 kids that got cut freshman year transfer, and end up playing college ball. If you want your kid to be a high performer at one of t... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: 20 years on Tigerdroppings - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 6:17 pm Been here little over 20 but really was even before then. Before the current software when it was the old 90s style format. I came over from tiger forums and used to mainly post there in 2001 but was still over here some in 2002 and early 2003 but then Brett started charging over there and I was out... re: Weight training - any pointers on how to cycle between hypertrophy and strength? - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 6:14 pm Because you can get the best of both worlds and use a lot more tonnage which usually drives strength up which in turn builds more muscle ... re: If the travel baller in your life has a birthday coming up - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 6:11 pm
Tryouts at a place like Catholic High for example are insane. Every kid out there has played at the highest level on only the best travel teams. You could make good playoff teams from the players who never see the field.
re: Weight training - any pointers on how to cycle between hypertrophy and strength? - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 1:25 pm
5-30 is what renaissance periodization recommends. The majority would be better off just eating in a surplus and get stronger. It’s really not that hard. No one that deadlifts or squats 500 is small.
Good example is Denim. Anyone look at that guy and think he’s weak? If he cut, do you thin... Posted on Health/Fitness Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: Weight training - any pointers on how to cycle between hypertrophy and strength? - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 1:23 pm
Does it not also depend on the goal? If the goal is to increase maximal strength, the low reps would be suggested to create a CNS adaption. Sure, you can see some increase to mass, but if the goal is hypertrophy, then the higher reps would lend more towards muscle fatigue and building.

re: Lake Charles "Postpones" Decades Old Festival - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 12:22 pm
2. I'm wondering if the extension of Nelson Road over Contraband Bayou could be a game changer for downtown. Right now, getting from southern Nelson Road to downtown is a pain, requiring a lot of zig-zagging through the grid to get there. Having Nelson be able to feed directly into the old pa... re: Weight training - any pointers on how to cycle between hypertrophy and strength? - lsu777 on 3/18/24 at 12:01 pm yall realize that number of reps doesnt even matter...right? atleast up to about 30 reps.
its about how close you get to failure, did you progressively overload and lift sufficient tonnage to cause an adaptation.
