You trying for 1400?

yeah, Ireset my workout program a few weeks ago.

I was pushing bench at 385, squat at 490, and dead at 505.

tried to push through for two weeks, and just felt beat up. Went back to my favorite lifting split and feeling like a fricking champion right now on energy and joints.

The goal is to try for 1500 by Jan 1

I can almost- Only thing missing is bench by 30 lbs, I hit a plateau at 970.

Hoping if I carry more gallons of water and shaker bottles with me in the gym I can get that extra little bit.

You know you can allocate the 1000 lbs between any of the 3 lifts, right?

What you need is some of my friction style wrist wraps and bad-arse shirt..

I'm not too big on using equipment.

I lift raw, except for a belt for squats over 365 and deads over 455

maybe that would help? I dont know.

Look up. I wear those when I lift. My Left wrist has issues off and on.

I only wear those wraps, belt and reh-bands.

Ive been thinking of knee support, do you like the reh?

Im getting old and sometimes a little fear enters my head when I step back off the rack.

I had an acl surgery a few years ago.

It doesn't provide a lot of support, but it keeps my knees warm during workouts and supposedly helps with patella tracking.

years of indoor volleyball has my left patella pretty bad so maybe this would help.

How did you do with the last crossfit?

Sucked.

I was still recovering from the brostram repair late into last year so my cardio and DUs are shite right now and I haven't been working on bar MUs.

I'm about to start some serious Oly training, cardio and working on my other weaknesses.

I'll still lift body builder style heavy shite during lunch and do the other training in the evenings.

I'm waiting for Castro to release a 225lb bench WOD. I would smoke some fools in that shite.

Do it with Bench, Squat, Clean...then come talk to me

This. I had 1000lbs + in high school with these 3 lifts 23 years ago.

Don't do bench the same as I used to then. Used to do wide grip. Now mostly narrow grip bench at tempo. Clean is still about the same as back then. Squat has really come down since those days, but can still hit about 400.

1035 raw no belt, no nothing at 6 foot 170lbs body weight

325 squat
245 bench
465 deadlift

All three to power lifting meet standards while on deployment for the 1000lb club. Not the bullshite squats and bench press you see people do.

I've got 1,000 lbs between the three.

My goal by Jan 1st of 2017 is to have 1300.

I can't anymore. I've kinda aged out I guess. Could about 3-4 years ago.

I thought the 3 that counter were bench, squat, and clean?

Putting the deadlift in there makes it easy for someone who works out
