What dish makes you cringe when other people order it at restaurants?

I lose respect for fellow diners when I'm at a fairly decent restaurant and someone orders anything fried.
It just seems like they have no sense of adventure. When I eat out, I have no interest in simply making a turd. I want to try something I can't easily do at home. Fried foods are just plain boring.
Also, there isn't a more boring sushi than plain sashimi. A slab of fish on a nugget of white rice? Yawn.

well done steak -shoot them, show the cow some love

generally agree....especially boneless chicken breasts in any fashion.
BUT, a roasted chicken at a restaurant that knows how to execute it properly can blow your socks off.

The only thing that makes me "cringe" at the dinner table is poor manners. "Poor manners" includes many things, such as being a cheap tipper.

As a libertarian I don't care what they order. But if someone ordered fried liver with coconuts I'd gag from the smell. So far, it hasn't happened.

I love anchovies, blue cheese, and grape leaves, of course not all together. Everyone seems to turn their nose up at these 3 most of the time when I eat them.

"I want prime rib, but make sure no pink or red". This was the last straw on a guy I was thinking about firing. He ordered it at the best steakhouse in Des Moines and the clients looked at him like he was insane.
In the bar order category, "a Johnny Walker and Coke".

Deal breaker. Not standing up when a woman comes to the table makes me want to punch the guy violating this basic rule of manners.

OMG! I think if my heart beats any faster, I may have a heart attack right here and now!
Not standing is, of course, included in the "poor manners" about which I speak.
