I’ve learned enough in my years as an lsu fan that now that all of my hopes for the season have been crushed, LSU will start playing lights out and get my hopes up for what could be a great next season… wash, rinse, repeat…
Preliminary trials of chloroquine repurposing in the treatment of COVID-19 in China have been encouraging, leading to several new trials. The US has not started recruiting yet.

Remdesivir trials, on the other hand, have started recruiting patients in multiple US locations.

Second Multnomah Falls, but skip the absurd lines at Voodoo and check out LSU grad Rob Herkes at NOLA donuts. He’s been slowly rising his way to the top of the donut scene out there. Great guy.
Run. Run. Pass. Punt. Net -1 yards of offense.
The game sealing interception in the 1997 game versus #1 Florida. I was 11 watching the game at a soccer team cookout!
If this has been discussed, it can be deleted, but I am just wondering if LSU can get Herman, what does CEO have to do for the fan base to be willing to pass up on a young head coach that a lot of our fan base has been clamoring over?

If he wins out and is offered the job, how short of a rope does he have before fans turn on him saying we should have gone with Herman?

It's easy to say on TD what you or I would or would not do hypothetically, but I do not envy the people who may have to make a really tough decision about what is the best course for the program.

I am getting old and not real certain about this, but didn't Tenn. and Fulmer refuse to fly into BR for a game because of Rita? I think I remember that there was no option to cancel or forfeit and the game was moved to the Monday immediately following the Saturday?? I think the SEC stepped in and told Tenn. the game had to be played. Does anyone remember this? Thanks!

I don't remember the exact circumstances around the decision to play on Monday, but I remember this happening. I was in my junior year and there were tailgates happening all over campus, but some teachers held class. Luckily(?) I only had one of these teachers that morning and fans were giving students beer on their way to class.
The only reason I am still here is for the argument over the correct definition of redundant.

Thinking of offering Charcandrick or DeAngelo Williams for Edelman (owner lost LeVeon Bell) and desperately needs an RB. Thoughts on who I should keep?

MY current WRs are Megatron, Moncrief, Martavius Bryant.

QB, RB, 2WR, TE, FLEX, K, Def

12 team - Standard scoring.

TIA
I started CJ Anderson in place of Martavius Bryant bc I thought the match up was good and wasn't sure of Bryant's value without Big Ben. I'll see myself to the bottom of the standings.
Not trying to hijack, just dont want to open the same thread again.

Facing a similar situation with Manning - what if you add Tyrod Taylor and Blake Bortles to the possible waiver wire pickups?

I've been waiting for CJ Anderson and Peyton to figure it out and so far they've landed me in last place.
Trying to work out a trade. Is Forsett and upgrade over Randle?
I wouldn't make that trade. I think Bortles is serviceable more so than trying to find a new RB to replace Forsett's current production.
I agree with this, but think Harris throws a TD and don't think Guice gets 2 TDs:

LSU 31
EMU 10

LF 16/188 2 TD
BH 9/14 115 0TD 0pick
DG 15/110 2 TD

I am in the same boat - hoping Gurley is ready soon.

Les Miles wants him to win the heisman so i guarantee he will get as many as needed to do that

How did/will Vegas adjust the odds based on his performance Saturday?
Just watched the hype(?) video and thought:
I don't think this is news to you or anyone on this board. You have a great set of WRs, but you are weak in the RBs and TEs. Nothing bad to say about Drew. You are really relying on Doug Martin to return to 2012 form and that Todd Gurley becomes a great #2 when he is cleared to play. McFadden is hard to love in the Dallas backfield until we know how that situation is going to shape up, but most people seem to think Randle is going to come away with the carries there.

All in all, if 2 of your RBs turn out to be decent enough, Drew and your WRs could shoulder the team the rest of the way.
Just went back in time and stumbled on this team:

10 team PPR
I like my team. TE's suck, but I have 3 WR1's i feel, and plenty of RB help getting backups...

WR
Jordy Nelson
Demaryius Thomas
Kelvin Benjamin
Steve Smith
Victor Cruz

The fantasy gods have not treated you well.
12 team standard league - 6 teams in the playoffs

QB: Peyton Manning
RB: C.J. Anderson, Carlos Hyde, Todd Gurley
WR: Calvin Johnson, Nelson Agholor, John Brown, Pierre Garcon, Martavis Bryant
TE: Jimmy Graham
PK: Josh Scobee
TD: Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers (For Week 1 when Ravens play Denver)

Start: QB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE Def, K

Tried to grab a top player at every position and then hoping to make a run when Gurley and Bryant start the season.
My dad is a McNeese grad. Here's his favorite photo.

I would prefer Julio Jones here. Steeper drop-off in terms of production in the next WRs after him.
I am not sure why I would make that up...?

SNIP traded Adrian Peterson, Min RB to DEGS

DEGS traded Alfred Blue, Hou RB to SNIP

I was informed after saying something that he was just screwing with me.
The 2 that I talk to on a regular basis are not. The rest are other execs/directors in my field that I have just met via email prior to draft. First year in the league and just learning the politics of it.

Pretty sure you are bullshitting, but if not you should have to pay another $250 fee for being the league retard if you are just "debating" about calling him out.

Not bullshitting at all, but no one else in the league has even blinked about this trade, and I don't understand why they aren't upset about this also.
Commissioner in my league just approved a trade in which he received Adrian Peterson and Demaryius Thomas for Alfred Blue calling it "sufficiently balanced."

Debating on calling him out (entry fee into 12 team league is $250). Is there an argument that this is a balanced/fair trade?
