That would be the best news ever. He only got his great start because of Saban's recruits.
re: Matt Flynn doesn't impress Ron Jaworski

Matt Flynn is a good QB. He is smart and knows how to read a defense. You don't have to have the strongest arm in the NFL, but you will not survive without the brains. There are other QB's that are the best without having the strongest arms. Peyton Manning doesn't have the strongest arm ever, but he is strong enough with the best mind to ever play the position
Former LSU Football Player Turned War Hero

Former LSU Tiger Jim Rathmann, who was on the 2003 National Championship Team is a champion once again, only this time on the battlefields of Afghanistan. Rathmann, who played DB/WR/Special Teams for the Tigers has served in the 82nd Airborne Division as a platoon leader from 2009-2010 in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Rathmann was awarded the Bronze Star amongst many other awards for his heroism in combat. Prior to joining the LSU Tigers in 2003, Rathmann served as an enlisted soldier from 1999-2003. He became a combat veteran immediately following the 9/11 attacks when he deployed to defend this country. It is guys like this that make me proud to be an LSU Tiger and an American. Thank you for your service Captain Jim Rathmann, the LSU Nation salutes you. Geaux Tigers!
