re: bayou bash

The bash is boring...........

Chester Hebert made 1st team all-state (5A) as a JR. Gregory Robinson was also 1st team all-state with Hebert.

Ethan Houston from Destrehan will get a full ride from someone.

Ezekiel Alasander and Jonah Austin could get some looks to.

I see that Nick Shepard made 1st team All District in 15-5A. He was also the only JR on the Defense with two JRs on Offense.
Alonzo Lewis will be the most physical receiver in the 11 class.

I got kicked out of the Auburn game for Boos. The first drive the jackass behind me gave out a boo and said how bad JJ sucked. Well lets just say its better to miss a game and be in the dog house with the wife than have to lisen to that crap.
I see Trovon Reed giving it up next. I would go as far as to say before the end of Septermber.

I would rather see James Wright as a part of this class more that Jerrett Fobbs but if we can make room for both that would be best. I don't think either will make it past the end of their HS season.

When Reed gives us his verbal it might be over quickly but I think he will wait until the All American game.

Richard Ash is the Feb. guy.

Another name most are leaving off their list is Benay Pryer. With our PBS boy leaving the team I can see his name on our committed list after January.
1. What does an Alabama virgin say while having sex for the first time?

Get off of me daddy, your crushing my cigarettes.

2. How do you get an Alabama grad off your porch?

Pay for the pizza.

3. What’s long and hard on an Alabama fan?

Third grade.

I though Sedric Flowers projected as a OG or Center?

I would take him as an OG, Hunter Long as a Center, and La'el Collins as an OT. You can put Greg Robinson in the mix too but I'm not sure if he projects as a OL or DL.

re: Hilliard

Posted by Tigertail1971 on 7/20/09 at 4:09 pm to
The class of 2011 has all the making to be one of the best in LSU history. Getting early verbal’s from the cream of the crop in Louisiana and letting them be the voice of the class could be the key intergradient we are looking for. Early verbals from Hilliard, Hills, Landry, Collins, and Lewis could help us lock down the rest of the LA kids, turnaround A. Johnson, and keep J. Rasco from looking west.

Anyone? Texas LB 2011

Posted by Tigertail1971 on 7/16/09 at 11:46 am
Kendall Thompson from Carthage, TX a 2011 LB is saying LSU is on top and his dream school, per TOS.

Does anyone know any thing about him?

Its hard to say who is better, Rasco or Johnson. Both play the DL but other than that they are completely different players. One leads to speed and technique and the other to power game.

Douglas did well at a camp but being home schooled may hurt his chances. I personally like Renalso Thomas from St. Aug better. If Zach Lee dosn't go pro, I just don't see a QB in the 2011 class with limited offers.
Beau Fitte from S. Plaquemines HS is the only 2011 LB making noise for next year. I heard some good things about Vondray Vallere but who knows at the LB spot for 2011.
Corey Nelson, Michael Taylor, and then Shaun Lewis.

Thanks for the kind words on my list and if I had an all Louisiana signing class for 2011 this is how I see it. With only 11 seniors, a junior or two leaves early, and natural attrition. My guess for 2011 is 18.

QB:
1. Renaldo Thomas or Stevie Douglas (in that order)
RB:
2. Kenny Hilliard
3. Jeremy Hills
or Derrick Milton
WR:
4. Jarvis Landry
5. Alonzo Lewis
6. Bradley Sylve
OL:
7. La’el Collins
8. Greg Robinson
DL:
Anthony Johnson
9. Chuck Hunter
10. Jermauria Rasco
11. Anthony Johnson
LB:
12. Beau Fitte
S:
13. Michael Petty
ATH/CB/WR:
14. Levander Liggins
15. Devin Boutte
16. Deneil Warner

Two left so take two of the following…

Rod Davis (WR)
Jonny Banks (TE)
Ethan Houston (OL)
Jerome Sentimore (OL/DL)
Malcolm Pichon (DL)
Vondray Vallere (LB)
Floyd Raven (CB)
Ellis Carey (S) – My favorite name in the 2011 class. How great would it be if his middle name was Hugh. Get it, Ellis Hugh.

You know Miles is going out of state and a few names will rise to the top during this year but I like it.

Okay its way to early to look at 2011 but here is my guess. You can add to these guys because we never see all the sleepers. With that said, LSU will have limited scholarships in 2011 (11 seniors) and the state is loaded.

Possible 5 Star Guys
Jermauria Rasco DE
Kenny Hilliard RB
James Landry WR
Alonzo Lewis WR
Anthony Johnson DT
La’el Collins OL
Jeremy Hills RB

Possible 4 Star Guys
Beau Fitte LB
Lavander Liggins ATH
Bradley Sylve WR
Greg Robinson OL/DL
Derrick Milton RB
Chucky Hunter DT

Others...
Stevie Douglas QB
Renaldo Thomas QB
Devin Boutte WR/ATH
Denzeil Warner WR/ATH
Ethan Houston OL
Michael Petty S
Jerome Sentimore OL
Corey White OL
Rod Davis WR
JeVante Watson RB
Johnny Banks TE
Ellis Carey S
Carl Hart DB
Cartel Murray ATH
Urell Johnson S
Vondray Vallere LB
Kris Albarado K

re: Ronnie Vinson

Yes Reid was from D. Town but he is all LSU.

I think Vinson will be a CB. LSU never had much luck at his HS but only a couple (2) of good kids came out and no way they were going to LSU.

re: Kiffin Projection

This is how I see Tenn.’s season for next year, 6 wins (W. Kentucky, Ohio, Auburn, Memphis, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky), 4 losses (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss), and two games that could go either way (UCLA and S. Carolina). Okay lets say 7 and 5, can you spell Music City Bowl.

9/5 W. Kentucky
9/12 UCLA
9/19 @ Florida
9/26 Ohio
10/3 Auburn
10/10 Georgia
10/17 Open Date
10/24 @ Alabama
10/31 S. Carolina
11/7 Memphis
11/14 @ Ole Miss
11/21 Vanderbilt
11/28 @ Kentucky

I spoke to his dad today and David said he will be in BR on January the 9th. Ya'll don't know what hell this guy was put through choosing LSU over state.
A few to keep an eye on related to Bama...
Terrence Broadway, I think he is the #1 player in the state next year. Some think he is already a Bama lean.
Ronnie Vison, I think he is in the top five for 2010. He already said he will take visits.
Jonathan McKnight, I think he will be in the top 10 to 15 for 2010. We all know this story.
Luke Charpentier, I think he will be in the top 10 to 15 for 2010. Luke will start out in the top 15 but after a few games jump into the top 10.
