Pelicans Live Case

Posted by tigershornets on 3/25/14 at 3:26 pm
I started a thread a couple of months ago about doing a live case with some Pels execs about the disparity of visits between their mobile and desktop websites. I think a big factor is the age of the average Pels fan. If y'all could guess, what would you say the average age of Pels fans are? Not season ticket holders per se, but just fans that follow the team. I'm 21 and I feel like the average age is probably low to mid 20's then tapering off the older you continue.

Motorcycle or Ruckus

I'm moving down from LSU to go to Tulane Law next semester, and I was wondering if anybody has any experience commuting to school down there or anywhere on a motorcycle/scooter. Any suggestions as to what I should be looking for? I have experience riding dirtbikes, so balance and shifting won't be a problem.
He not only set the bit about good sets, but that Roberts was excellent and that Stiemsma was an excellent shot blocker. He's clearly never watched us play.

More detail: basically the Saints desktop website gets significantly more hits than the mobile website, which is good because they can charge more money for advertisements on their site. They wanna know how to drive more people to the desktop site for the pels so they can make more money off of advertisements.

Pelicans Live Case at LSU

I'm in an online marketing class at lsu and the pels are coming in in a couple of weeks to pick our brains about why their mobile site gets way more traffic than the website. I think it's because pels fans tend to be younger and more on the go. If y'all have anything you'd like to contribute or for me to talk to them about besides cleaning house and killing Eric Gordon, let me know on here.
Man, I hope we keep Morrow. He and Ryno together is going to create a lot of scoring opportunities for them as well as the big inside.
Monty loses another one by watching Roberts get burnt as AR sits on the bench.

Hey my bad, yes I meant Sean Kelly.

Sean Kelly has big news

Was listening to the pels game in my truck for a minute and in the second quarter Sean Kelly said something about big news coming in the next few days. The lispy guy said something about AD being an all star because of the injuries but Sean said no not that. He said if he said it on the air he'd lose his job. Speculation?

I was accepted to all the schools that I applied to. Do you think UVA or UGA is really an option? 3.45 GPA with a 167 LSAT.

Thanks for the advice. It's just good to look at things from different angles.

I know all the ins and outs about civil code vs. common law. I was mostly looking to see if anybody had any experience with Loyola v. Tulane or leaving home v. Staying

Caucasian, male, family friends with senior partners at the law firm that looks after Tom Benson's assets.
I'm from New Orleans; I love the city, and I love the culture. My dad's a river boat pilot, but that never peaked my interest. However, I am considering admiralty law. If I stay in Louisiana, I am leaning towards Tulane. If I head to SMU, I want to do contracts and stay more in the corporate sector. Dallas has just always really attracted me for whatever reason

Law School Advice

I don't post here, but I saw a discussion the other day about law school that intrigued me. I'm a graduating senior in marketing from lsu, already taken the LSAT, applied, and have been accepted to Tulane, Loyola, Southern Methodist, U of H, and LSU. LSU, Houston, and Loyola have offered me full scholarships, Tulane offered me 25k a year and SMU offered 30k per year.

Could someone with knowledge and experience in this area give me some insight about choosing a school? Is it worth the cost to attend Tulane over Loyola? Does an SMU degree provide me with better options as a common law school instead of civil? I'm really just stressing out and wanted to hear opinions based on facts not just for opinions sake.

Thanks in advance!

Alexis Ajinca should start

How long til frenchie gets the start over the useless corpse that is Greg Stiemsma? Or do you think Steamer is a Monty favorite?
With all your contacts, I'm sure you'd be capable of calling in a hit. Perhaps, Pierre with the T shirt cannon?

White ref is killing us.

All night when there's been a questionable call he's in the middle of it. I'm at the game right behind the pels bench and they're even talking about it. Need to get Pierre to murder for good and not evil tonight. Geaux Pels.
And Anderson doesn't exactly help on defense either. I know obviously we are a better team with him on the court but somebody is going to have to step up big time on the defensive side of the ball.
Our bench is really bad on the offensive side and lately the defensive side too. The rotations just don't make sense to me. Smith, Davis, Holiday, and Gordon does not translate to Stiemsma, Thomas, Roberts, and Rivers.

Playing from behind is tough

Posted by tigershornets on 11/10/13 at 9:19 pm
We don't really have the scoring to play and win games from behind yet. With our weird/plain bad rotations, do y'all think Anderson will be enough to give us a chance against teams that can score in bunches?

Let's Geaux Pels!!

I'm just now getting out of my seat at the arena. Section 120. What a game? The hope and optimism has not been here since CP3 left, but the atmosphere tonight was awesome. I know we lost, but we lost to a team that missed the finals by one game and has significant offseason pick ups. We're in for a fun season, sons. Geaux Pels!!
I lurk hard on Pelicans talk. I've had season tickets since the 06-07 season and I come here to check for breaking news as our breaking news isn't "important" enough to the national media most of the time.
To me he looked a little tentative. He's got the instincts and the ability and if he can put it together, we are in great shape. With experience comes confidence and with confidence comes tenacity which he needs more of. Being around J Smoove will be very beneficial.
Watched the game last week at the Wynn sports bet bar. They have a VIP section that they will let you into if you ask. Nice place.
The away jersey is sick but idk if I like the white home uniform
Says he's done with thread, continues posting.
