To which part? The abolishment of slavery was a condition of surrender for the South. Slavery wasn't fully abolished in the North until 1901. Sherman and Grant had dozens of slaves each, many of whom would accompany them to the battlefield. Grant freed his in 1866, Sherman not until 1870.
This is outright false. I'd suggest some quick googling or a visit to Snopes.
13th amendment was ratified in 1865, so the 1901 date is complete bullshite.

It's easy enough to find in the shadier corners of the interwebs, but as engineering reference books go it's not expensive, so I'd highly recommend you buy a copy yourself. If you have any contacts at Flowserve they may be able to hook you up, a buddy working as an application engineer there gave me a copy.

Totally agree with post above, for references I use on a regular basis I want a hard copy in front of me.

What about the black girl I worked with that got married at Nottoway because that was her dream wedding spot? Is that racist?

Total revenue is $21,751,000. The $5.8MM from the state highway fund is included in the total revenue with toll revenue making up the balance.

I don't think the article provided an exhaustive list of all expenses, would be curious to see how the remaining $6.6MM is spent.

I trim first, then my mower can bag the trimmings as I pass close to the fence/drive/flower beds.
This, let the mower bag the mess from trimming and edging, less cleanup after with the blower.
If you can post the exact model number for your surround system, should be able to pull the manual from the LG website to see what your options are for system setup.
Bit streaming means outputting the original digital audio stream unaltered, bit for bit, regardless of original format (Dolby Digital, DTS, ETC). Many TVs and soundbars can't decode some surround formats like DTS, so you have the option of outputting a down mixed generic digital audio signal (PCM) so you have basic 2 channel sound on these devices.
The wrinkle in your case is that if the Netflix app is truly native to the surround system, there's no reason it would need to send an audio signal to your TV at all; audio should be handled entirely by the surround system. If the Netflix app is actually running on the TV, that would explain the issues you're having as many TVs can't output a multichannel audio signal.
Also, you mentioned optical cables earlier in the thread...optical digital cables can't handle the newer surround formats like Dolby Digital Plus used by Netflix and the Dolby/DTS HD formats used on Blu Ray discs. Should be using HDMI cables between components; a single HDMI cable will handle both audio and video.

When you're accessing Netflix through the home theater system, does it display the surround sound format? For Netflix content with multichannel audio, the audio stream should be encoded as Dolby Digital Plus format, and your receiver should display the format of the audio stream being played back.
There's also the caveat that not all Netflix content is available with multichannel audio. I find many older shows/movies are only available with 2-channel audio, in which case simulated surround sound like Dolby Pro-Logic II is the best you'll get.

Still need more info. What are you using as your Netflix source? The TV, or does the home theater system have a built-in Netflix app?
Finally got this done today...used Digital Wire LLC, run by Aaron Spears. I don't have a breakout cost for just the antenna install as he also ran new wires for my surround speakers. Overall I felt total cost was reasonable and he did a good job.
This has to be an elaborate attempt at trolling.

They used it as an intro to Jambi. That 3-4 minutes of instrumental that segued into Jambi was actually part of a new song called Descending.
Actually had a someone out today to get an estimate, can update if/ when I get the antenna installed.
HOA won't allow a visible exterior antenna, so attic is my best option.
re: Antenna/Installer Recommendation in Baton Rouge Area

Making one isn't really as much of an issue as the attic installation and fishing coax through the wall. My attic isn't decked and I frankly don't trust myself to not put a foot through the ceiling.
Antenna/Installer Recommendation in Baton Rouge Area
Posted by TechME on 1/10/16 at 7:01 pm
Looking to get an antenna installed in the attic so I can ditch Cox, but not looking to do the installation myself (what can I say, not as spry as I once was.) That being said, can anyone recommend a good installer in the greater BR area?
Antenna recommendations are welcomed as well. I'm in Prairieville and I have a large open space in the attic above my living room, so could fit a pretty substantial antenna/rotator.

Looked like Exxon had a pretty major upset yesterday afternoon too, saw at least 4 flares start up in just a few minute from my office off Essen.
Vectorworks looks like it's focused on architectural design, may not be the best fit for someone looking to do mechanical design.
If you're just looking for 2D CAD, check out Draftsight:
https://www.3ds.com/products-services/draftsight-cad-software/free-download/
It's made by the same folks that develop SolidWorks and is more or less a copy of AutoCAD as far as 2D functionality and is offered as a free license.

Sounds like just shitty luck on this one. Probably stuck modding the rail or seeing if you can find a trade for the VLTOR upper for one compatible with the Geissele rail.
