Must have memory problems. Fournette last year was 4th in the nation in TD and 3rd in total yards with 2 less games than Derrick Henry and 1 less than everyone else because of the canceled McNeese game...with a terrible passing game to take pressure off of him

No the Les/Cam offense takes a defense that is undersized, otherwise they stack the box against the run and we lose

Just an opinion... Seems and sounds like he's not an X's and O's guy. He's a recruiter, a verbal leader, and motivator, but not a type of coach or personality type like Caliperi or Saban. I don't mind it as much for basketball because I'm not an X's and O's fan of LSU basketball. I appreciate that we're winning under him, and that he can recruit and is building a nice class for next year.

That said, I'm AM an X's and O's guy for football, and I appreciated the hell out of Saban's focus on strategy and would like us to run a cleaner offense (which I think, and have heard from players, is from Miles getting in Cam Cameron's way much of the time). And I think Johnny Jones is like Miles in that he isn't as critical of the game as a whole because he doesn't notice as much. He's not picking it apart he's more of a motivator. So, I can appreciate fans' frustration. A lot of my friends are frustrated.

An aside: I am pretty tired of people hating on some fans by saying they're fair weather fans and tell them to sit back and enjoy us winnning more games than in the past, or usual, or compared to other programs. I'd argue the more you understand the game the more you notice and are unsatisfied with mediocrity, and the more just winning games because of talent isn't as satisfying. Actually, it can be more frustrating to see it go to waste. Doesn't mean you're a crappy LSU fan, just means you're a fan of the sport.
