I would say there are more than that, we grew up hearing stories about the 50s Pelicans players being a major part of the Pirates 60 World Series, from manager Danny Murtaugh to players like Elroy Face and Dick “Dr. Strangeglove” Stuart. Unfortunately most are now in their 80s and 90s

I was going to say Tom Seaver, he repeats his motion effortlessly, and throws harder than it looks, Seaver also was able to control his pitches in the strike zone

Hue Jackson probably wins that award, and for the Saints choose a coach from the 70s….Stram had the worst winning percentage of any head coach 25%
