I think you damn sure could rub you dick and balls all over her and not have a legal problem.

Do you really think this?

It would probably depend on his sports affiliations.

But seriously, I've seen Tiger fans gloss over some pretty bad behavior too when it was one of their own. I don't think the gumps are any worse. There are crap fans everywhere.
My problem starts at the 5:20 mark on the audio at the Advocate's website. He's asked "What was the gameplan and where did it go wrong?" Listen to his answers and how they don't address the question. I'll paraphrase for anyone who doesn't want to or can't listen:

Oh, he never states what the gameplan was and the reporter is A-OK with that. I love modern "journalism."

1. Player mistakes
2. Special teams gave up a big run
3. Defense gave up important 3rd downs
4. It wasn't our day
5. Alabama's good.

I love how he absolutely took credit for that. Anywhere he HAD to give an answer he used the royal "we." He only said "I" in regards to a questionable decision once that I can count so far.
"When you call, call in and say your TD name when they ask you who you are so we can know which one of you Hebert haters called in to challenged him."

Better yet, give your real names. Internet forums are full of tough guys, strange how we don't run into so many in the real world.
Yeah filmmaker45, you do that. Also mention that you think his son is a bitch. I bet you'll totally man up to that one face-to-face, right internet tough guy? /eyeroll
Anyone at all on the Iron Citadel server? I'm in a small PvP (Republic side) guild made up of locals who I played Galaxies, BF2, and WoW with.

See? Even the ruggers get it. And that hold is legal in rugby. (if the ref doesn't see)
"I suspect most of the people complaining about TM7's hand shiver to the shoulder of Kirkpatrick never played a down of football and are clueless about whats its like being in the heat of battle."

Agreed 100%, although I'd add that they've also never taken a punch. I broke up fights with punks in Tigerland that threw harder strikes than that "haymaker." And I love all of the "thug" accusations. Our "old-fashioned conservatism" is showing again for some of the folks. He smokes fake dope! Oh no! Hide your kids!
"clotheslining a player across the throat"

This is the main problem. Everyone describing that as a "clothesline" or even a "hit" are way off base. Watch the video ( LINK ), they display multiple slow-mo angles. He VERY CLEARLY GRABS AND PULLS Kirkpatrick, which is very clearly defined in the rules as HOLDING, a penalty for which NO ONE GETS EJECTED. This shouldn't even be a debate. There's video evidence, there's a rulebook, watch it, read it, and shut up; because you don't have a leg to stand on.
Saw on Facebook that these are being sold...

I don't think it's really puzzling. They're lazy. The only other excuse I'm taking is "I died before I could check it." And even then, why isn't the trot line mentioned in the will?!? Savages.
Single men, pay attention: "I bought it for US!" - It's one of the all-time classic tactics. And for god's sake, let her buy shoes; how ELSE are you going to justify all the fishing rods and guns???
Thanks myLSUhat, good to know. With a generator needed I'm going to have to do some magic on the hobby budget to make this happen. Or tell her, "remember during the hurricane power outages how we wanted a generator? Happy hurricane season baby!"

Yeeeeeeah, that's how I'll sell it. :nana:

Boat rig / lights for bowfishing?

Posted by NewtonDevice on 7/5/11 at 9:46 am
What do you guys use for bowfishing around here?

I'm looking for a few lights that I can run cheaply for a few hours at a time. Do I absolutely need a generator? We've got a 15' bateau that I'd like to rig up, and there isn't a ton of space in there. Is there anything else I might need on the boat specifically for when I bowfish?

Ruthless indeed, I heard gators run all of the big bank we bailed out. AND that they're behind this godawful idea to remake "Footloose."

...Kill 'em all!

Raised just fine. Not my fault someone set a line and failed to come back and check it. I see nothing wrong with letting the gator off of it.

LOL, no lie, some people weren't raised right and don't check their lines often enough. And going by a line that's going crazy and seeing a gator in the water isn't "checking" it EDIT: unless you guys didn't see the gator until you pulled it up). I've cut egrets and other stuff out of abandoned lines plenty of times. If people don't want their lines cut, don't leave 'em hooked and unattended for days and weeks. Respect the wildlife if you want to keep it around.
Chappy, do you have any pics of it? What kind of condition? A lot of shooting done on it? I'm around 5'8, 5'9 myself, so it might be a good fit.
I'm thinking about picking up a "Like new" used PSE Pro Series Bruin with a hard case, release, some arrows, and a new string. Other stats are:

solid limb, ibo is 297, axle length 34.25", brace height 6.88, draw weight 50-60lbs, draw length 25-30"

He wants $250 for all of it. I'm totally new to bow shopping and couldn't find info on the Bruin at PSE's site; is this a good deal OB?
Awesome, thanks fellas!
Ok I'll focus on a hunting bow for now then. And I live in Denham, but I work in BR, so places in/around either are good. I'm leery about Bass Pro b/c I know how overpriced their guns are.

Are there any brands or models I should avoid? Any most of you would recommend specifically?
Looking for a solid introductory bow for an adult. Haven't made up my mind yet between recurve and compound. I'd like something I can use for deer and rig for fishing, too. Trying to keep it under $300.

And what shops around here are good for bows and accessories?
I'm partial to BJ Pawn in Denham Springs, was wondering if anyone had any favorites to recommend based on price or service? I found Precision and Jim's to be overpriced, ditto with Bass Pro.
