Anyone heard of the plan for LSU
/SEC baseball this spring? Just checking to make sure I didn't miss something?

I have two pair of season tickets and have not heard anything from the ticket office yet.

I will be calling tomorrow to find out.

Thanks for the reminder, baseball season is sneaking up on us with the quickness.

Probably trying to wait on sec to set schedule
I would guess 25% capacity at this point

I called before the holidays and was told that they are in a wait and see for both Baseball and Football (Football was supposed to come out in November, but hasn't). They said they should have something out this month.

Considering I just heard from them today about my gymnastics season tickets and the first meet is this coming Friday, I’d say you’ll hear from them the first week of the season.

Exactly. Same process as hoops and gymnastics. Schedule comes out first and opt in / opt out is two to three weeks before.

Gymnastics Opt In/Opt Out was first week of December with a “you’ll be notified in mid-December” statement in the information they sent. Guess “mid-December” = January 3rd

This is my guess too.

I want to get my tickets if I can. Guess I’ll know in a few weeks. I’m out in the cheap seats so I won’t be surprised if they only allow 25% that I’d get the boot

I don't think it is going to matter where your seats are. Distancing is distancing. They can't leave the OF bleachers empty and fill up the purple seats.

probably start the season in mid March and play only conference schedule. I saw somewhere 4 conference game weekend with double header on Saturday. both games 7 inning. no sure if that is fact, but i read it someplace.

I usually get Baseball and Softball season tickets. I keep being told by the ticket office that neither have come up for renewal yet.

My understanding is that tentative schedules have been made for both, but are not being published until the SEC decides if non-conference games are going to be allowed, and what if any attendance restrictions will be in place. An example of this is that a recent Tiger Rag article gives a speculative softball season opener of February 11, 2021, and the Louisiana Tech Softball page shows a scheduled game at LSU on February 16: LA Tech Softball Schedule

I think they are trying to get as much ironed out before they sell tickets to games that might not happen and only in lower numbers. LSU had their hands full with paying out refunds last season.

On the plus side, gymnastics, golf, tennis, and other sports have announced their spring schedules.
