I will hold your hand like a small child. Its Ok to criticize, that's one of the reasons for the website. How valuable would this site be if everyone just got on here and talked about how good LSU is? Perhaps you should start your own site called Homer.com?

I think that anyone who is not opinionated probably doesn't really care that much which is fine, or there ignorant and can;t see that this team just isn't improving week to week.

Let me clarify, cause that does sound arrogant. What I am saying is that regardless of how the team plays I will support them but that doesn't mean I don't see huge problems with the way the team is coached. The purpose of this cite is to learn from one another, expand our knowledge and give the average guy a voice. If all anyone said was positive, how good would this site be? Sometimes I think people are just so damn close minded that nothing is up for discussion. Look at it this way, if you yell at your kids, does that mean you don't love them? Its like that with LSU football you love em so much that you just can't stand when the thing gets going sideways. In a lot of small ways were going sideways.

Ok 2 of those 4 were "home games" in the dome. And the Tigers can beat the 72 Miami Dolphins in that stadium in a big game. Do you want a coach who wins all his bowl games or gets you to BCS games consistently. I could care less about Peach Bowl wins. Your obviously not paying what I am to TAF and for season tickets and parking. I guess when you pay the kind of money LSU fans are paying the expectations rise. I don;t want to win mediocre bowl games I want our program on the biggest stage, every year that we have the talent to do so! With the resources Miles has he should en able to coach from the damn golf course and have success.

The o line play was awful this year like the entire offense because of 2 primary factors. 1) QB play 2) Coaching not adapting to players skill sets. Truly great coaches adapt their system to fit the players they have. The offensive tried to do to much for the players they had. They needed to dumb the offense down a lot! There also seems to be a real lack of passion in the blocking up front. I think that comes right from the top.
re: Barksdale projected as possibly 26th pick to Green Bay??

Green bay is not a bad place to play. Yes its cold but the fans are amazing, super die hard! They don't call it titletown for nothing.
re: Better Fans: Saints or LSU?

I went to Monday night saints game and people are tailgaiting under the over pass, and all over the place. Its totally different than LSU where the entire game day experience is amazing! Its tough to compare, College Games Sat, pro games Sunday people have to work the next day. I still say LSU fans, they never wore paper bags over their heads!

I would say LSU fans. LSU fans represent better on the road than saints fans. LSU fans also pay more for tickets. Not taking anything away from Saints fans they are great, second only to Packer fans. They sit in Zero weather to watch there team play thats saying something
re: Is Les Miles good enough for LSU?
Posted by Lsugolfpro on 12/19/09 at 1:23 pm to zed44
The answer is a resounding NO! He is a nice guy, and hires guys who recruit well, but thats not enough at 4 plus million a year. The NC was misleading because he lost 2 games that year and should have lost 4 or 5, the clock mismanagement in the Auburn game was inexcusable. Les Miles has been living with a horseshoe stuck in his arse and it has worked out for him,but the luck ran out in Oxford and nothing short of a National Championship will save his job next season.

Opening Kickoff In Washington, sitting next to the tiger fans that made the trip! There were no half arse fans at that game. After the game, in a light rain, we stood and talked to Chad Jones and Ciron Black for what seemed like forever about the game. Then walked through the campus which is amazing! Great Trip!
LSU Football Program going under the Knife again
Posted by Lsugolfpro on 12/11/09 at 7:04 pm
Guys it seems to me the LSU Football program has cancer. We went in after last season and replaced the defensive staff, which Miles hand picked. Now we are going back in and removing more cancer, this time on the offensive side of the ball. The problem is not the coordinators its the lack of discipline and poor head coaching! How many Les Miles Assistants, other than Larry Porter, who is a great recruiter, are getting quality head coaching jobs? Bo Pelini doesnt count, he was at Nebraska before.
Any idea why? Everyone in the know is aware that Les Miles is an extremely mediocre coach! Saban Assistants get jobs, Jimbo Fisher, Will Muschamp...........??
