Can Stud get it done for LSU, he doesn't seem to have the fire in the belly in my opinion

The fire in the belly?

Why don't we just focus on real shite like his inability to teach fundamentals of blocking and his/Les's inability to scout or lock up decent OL prospects

Miles really couldn't control what happened with all the linemen that left. Also, there is NO BLAME on the coach's shoulders for Ciron Black this year. It's like the guy completely fricking forgot how to block. Not to mention he turned his body into that of a fat DT.

right. he had free reign this season to ignore the offensive coaches' schemes and block as he saw fit. give me a break.

Other than recruiting decent players to replace them?

Wait isn't there a guy on our staff who is supposed to teach him/remind him how to block? Isn't his name Stufgrafa or Rudrawa or something like that?

Are you blaming coaching on the regression of a top notch Tackle? The absence of Herman Johnson has a lot to do with how Black played this year.

Stud was good in 2007 when he turned 2 d-tackles into o-linemen, he was good in 2008 when we were running over people, but he sucks now. How many of you get worse at your job from one year to the next?

If Gary Crowton and Greg Studrawa post here then two people.

Would you like to explain why our sucking on the OLine isn't his fault?

I think starting a guard who should be third string is the first reason (Jarvis Jones and Earnest McCoy would both be ahead of Dworacyk). Trying 5 different fullbacks indicates that we didn't have one that could go in the right direction or block the right guy. Blocking issues aren't always the o-line's fault. Case in point, Stevan Ridley's first carry in the last drive against LA Tech was a 1 yard loss (and he barely got out of the endzone). How did this happen? Crappy o-line? No, Parson went left instead of through the hole to pick up the linebacker who ended up taking Ridley down before he could get to the line of scrimmage. One player not doing his job can blow a play up. Black was damn good the last two years, did Stud do something to cause him to look like a second rate o-lineman? Hitt (who had only been coached by Stud) played well in '07 and '08. Did Stud do something to cause Hitt to play poorly at times? I can only speculate that the overriding problem was that offense was trying to do to many different things and it was causing confusion. Teams that blow people up usually do the same thing over and over and they beat you down because they are more talented.

So why is it not Stud's job to know which player gives us the best chance to win and playing him?

You have to assume so. That or Ciron is just lazy and its Stud's job to keep him motivated

Jones and McCoy are gone, so I guess Dworacyk was the best of what was left.

Isn't Stud supposed to scout and pick out OLinemen to bring in to make sure we have talent to replace our players?
