re: The Diplomat Season 2

Well, just watched season 3. I really like this show even though it gets a bit unrealistic. They do love to end episodes on big moments.

The husband is so much more interesting. The main character always seems like she needs a shower.

The residence, on Netflix

Anybody catch this? It was surprisingly good with a great cast.

Quick 8 episode binge…

Deadloch on prime was good.
Not great but a good quick watch.

I liked the first few episodes. Feel like they are going back to the traumatic past a bit too often. And a few times during the last episode i watched i found myself rolling my eyes at some of the character decisions.

I'll keep trying it.
Dillons was good a couple years ago, got a Toyota and haven’t needed themsince
not a ringtone, but I use "ms new booty" for an alarm. It works really well.
i thought this season was great. i'd probably rank the seasons 1/3/2.

not enough chi-chis this season.
I'm in Katy. We're staying. Got stocked up on ice/water yesterday. We've been out here 5 years and never flooded, i'm more worried about losing power.

I didnt' really consider leaving to be honest.

I thought they went overboard with the Jameis access. I don't need to know where he and his uncle's urinated in the yard or that they drank out of the faucet in the same place

or the cockroach having a baby, or his niece not introducing the boyfriend. Just a weird 10 minutes.

This is a great breakdown. I'm currently running Starting Strength (just started a few months ago) but I've added some additional exercises for fat loss. Looks like Greyskull may be the better fit.

I've got about a month left on my current run, will probably switch to this after. Thanks for this breakdown.

Bubba Hotep Bruce Campbell is awesome.

yes, very much enjoyed this one.

My recommendation is "In Order of Disappearance" a Norwegian black comedy with Stellen Skarsgard.
its great. Should get more love.

i saw it on a flight to canada and enjoyed it

Instead of the schmaltzy happy ending they had to have for a mainstream movie, have Chris Pratt die in space, then show her alone for about year and end with her finding someone in a pod and having to contemplate the same decision he had to make with her.

This would have been awesome, especially if they show her being a hypocrite.

I think your opinion is in the very small minority on that one (no pun intended)

yeah, at first i was like WTF? but it grew on me. My wife and i binged it on saturday and after some time went by i appreciated it more.

Dev turning into a little bitch for an italian woman from a small town that would be shunned if she cancelled her engagement is the bigger complaint i have. Even Chef Jeff knew it was a no-brainer.

How did I you enjoy I love New York? That episode was terrible.

Allora I mean it wasn't my favorite, but how do you not enjoy the rwandan immigrants getting into a really shitty club and then making their own party in a fast food restaurant after hours?

And the whole doorman thing was great, especially the guy getting blamed for eating mangos. I'm sort of partial for split storylines coming together though.

I am sure other people suspect it, but please point me to a write up that explains it in this kind of detail. I have repeated this 100 times now. I didn't bring it up once in the previous episode thread. I only responded to others comments. So the pushing it thing really doesn't hold water.

This level of detail? you're right no one else that i've seen has taken the time to write it out. I've seen the theory that she is involved in his practice on reddit, wiki, tv review sites, etc. Thats one of the biggest questions of the series, what happens to Kim?

The main theories are:
1) she is dead and this drove saul to totally break bad.
2) she is dead and it's saul's fault
3) she broke contact after saul does something to ruin the relationship (i believe the comment jimmy has about an ex wife in BB is used to justify this one)
4) she is involved in Saul's practice/helped develop the saul persona.

you're attributing too much to the Ice Station Zebra thing. She could have set it up for his side commercial business and then left him before he started his new firm, Saul could have named it that in her memory, or as a reminder of their split.

As far as pushing it, i remember last week you kept talking about it, and this week you jumped at every opportunity to explain "your" theory.

I'm done with theories, just going to enjoy the ride.
big fan of the season overall, really enjoyed the thanksgiving, i love NY, Religion and the italy episodes (minus the wedding portion). I really liked that his cousin Harris (who he's talked about a lot in his standup) plays his religious cousin in the Religion episode.

I do find arnold annoying when they do the little singing bit. Friendzone Dev was so annoying, but i'm sure Aziz has been in that situation a ton.

I felt like the switch on Chef Jeff was crappy, i really liked that character.

His mom is so bad at acting, like really bad. His female hindu friend and harris are not so great either, but his mom is terrible.

his dad stole the show again for me, did a great job.

On the ending - we noticed the lack of ring and different shirt immediately, although the weather outside matched the night she stayed over. I think it is just showing the girl considering leaving to be with Aziz.

And how shitty of her to try and give him shite for dating other girls. she's freaking engaged. Terrible.
I just find it annoying that you think you're the only one who ever thought of this theory and keep pushing it every week.

I'm just watching to see what happens. It annoys me when people read into every single detail to support whatever theory they have, i'm just trying to enjoy the ride.

That said- nice write up and enjoy your official thread.

That would be terrible. You're so tied up in this theory can you even enjoy the show anymore?

The bigger events are Gus and Lydia beginning to team up and build the lab, and Nacho beginning to turn against Hector (and he may be the cause of the stroke).

I hate Mike's daughter-in-law. stop asking for shite constantly already.
hell yeah, this show kicks arse.
