Yeah he'd definitely transfer out. Which makes it even more important LSU finds a good QB for the 2015 class

re: LSU 9 to 1 Odds to Win BCS Title

sportsbook.ag has LSU at 30:1 (I think.) If LSU wins the BCS, I get $300 for a $10 bet. A few weeks ago it was 20:1.

re: Rutgers coach crying that we won't play them....

There some benefits. We who live in NJ know how the Tiger faithful up here would show what real fun college football can be....the experience will leave a lingering impression in their hearts and minds. Plus we are close to getting a blue chip WR from NJ. Why shud Penn St or OSU get them all

Exciting player, great teammate and leader with solid character....even the one time trouble found him, it was to help out a teammate (advice to Loston). There are a few that make your so proud to be an LSU fan and he's one of the top.

Awesome post. So glad to hear that story. Shep is one of my favorites as well.
I totally identify with ALL of this... but i still remember that game clearly - amazing place. I can't imagine any other game coming close but hopefully this next one will

Same vibe? Hard to say. The problem with these "old timer" questions is that I was so drunk game day back then I don't know how I felt. Now that I've been sober for 25yrs. it's like you're asking me to access another personality.
One thing I do remember is that Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night was a huge advantage for us against any ranked team. Whole lotta magic!
