I dont understand you people. Chris Paul has been here for six seasons. He has played his heart out and played at an elite level. Wanting to try his luck elsewhere after his contract is up is not a slight on New Orleans or the fans. The thought that he somehow "owes" us something is ridiculous. The only thing he owes the team is to try and play his best every night for as long as he is under contract which he has always done.

this is one of the most irresponsible pieces of journalism i have ever seen. they use arrests and criminal record interchangeably. they note that in cases where the results are known, 60% of the players charged were convicted or paid a fine. they completely ignore the fact that if that number holds true, 40% of the players who they are claiming have a "criminal record" will not be convicted. they also slam schools for not looking into player's juvenile records ignoring that in most states juvenile records are sealed. they also refer to a player being charged as a juvenile and not as an adult a "loophole"
