re: GE Z-Wave products dying one by one.

I just replaced two of my Gen1 GE smart switches. Design is different, hopefully improved. The first switch died about 4 months ago. The second switch went out after a power outage 3 weeks ago. The lights ended up blinking in an unusual pattern which led me to look into the switch failure. Appears this is a common failure after power surges. Again, hoping the design has improved to prevent these failures.
Using Sensorly is a good idea. I have problems with AT&T in my work building. I might expect the same from other services. Most of my family and neighbors are on AT&T so don't have a good view of coverage besides AT&T where we live.
Google Project Fi coverage in South La?

I'm getting anxious for the new Nexus phones to come out this fall. Considering switch from AT&T to Project Fi. Can someone give a review of network coverage in the river parishes? Any show stoppers to be aware of before making the switch?
