Do you think the way our team improved off the rough washington game, that we will be ready for florida?

Never forget '97.

What crappy Tiger fans in this thread.

We were much more unlikely to beat them then than we are now.

Did LSU stand a chance against #1 Florida in 1997?

If we played next week, it would be highly unlikely. Its a long ways away, and lots can happen between now and then.

What really sucks is we might have to play them twice.

Not a chance in hell. In fact we will lose to UGA, UF, BAMA, Auburn, and Ole Miss. SEASON IS DOOMED!!!

Last night I had a dream we were up 17-7 at the half. Also, the half ended after JJ connected on like a 60 yard bomb to lafell, but we didnt score cuz time ran out.

If I remember correctly 2003 we were looking like world beaters, and Florida was in another mediocre season under Ron Zook. And those same subpar gators came in hungry and LSU came in expecting a win... we know how that worked out.

All fans who posted in this thread will still watch the game and lend their 100% support to the tigers. Having a damn opinion based on objective facts doesn't make us bad fans. What's with the rant and homerism these days?

Don't need to live in the past ... LSU has actually won championships this decade. All I'm saying is that there's always a chance. Would you have felt better if I had asked whether ULM had a chance against Bama in 2007?
