If she wants a beagle, get her a beagle.
I have a year and a half old beagle, that stays in/out 50/50. He sleeps inside at night but stays out when we're away. This will be your new shadow... Not the smartest, but super easy to train.
Back to giving the wife what she wants, beagles are hounds... Loud, love to run, love to dig and love to eat. So let her leave her best pair of shoes on the floor, and that little guy can take care of that. They also excel at hiding clothes that are left out. So I consider my beagle to be sharp bc he cleans up the place! Just keep an eye on baseboard corners, beagles love em.

why do you refer to South Carolina as USCe? if anything So Cal should be USCw, and South Carolina simply USC.
