Agreed. It effectively gives less power to the legislature and more to others including civil service employees and lobbyist who know how to play the game.

The real answer, and the hard one, is to recruit, elect and retain men and women with brains, compassion and integrity.

I am off Causey too... Still waiting.

Jesus did call for each follower to love and help his/her neighbor, but he also established a church and the church community.

this tracks with the general tendencies of viruses. Generally speaking, mutations usually move toward less deadly and more viral.
Perhaps I was a little triggered by this. Usually when I think about posting something, I decide against it. I had seen this article a few days prior and it stayed on my mind. I didn't see it discussed and I felt it should be shared.

My identity is not at all wrapped up in my post count as I am sure you're not beating your chest that you have clicked the submit button 13,000 times.

More from the triggered left

I don't know where to start.

This person has no problem killing babies but is triggered and feels "dehumanized" because women's clinics use the term "women's" in their name and literature.

Nick (I will use a name as I don't recall Nick's preferred pronouns) won't recognize the universal truth that abortion is ending a life but expects everyone to recognize Nick's truth about Nick's gender choices.

Nick, you are the one acting in de-humanizing manner.
Didn't Tom McCormick recently run for judge around WBR? I recall seeing campaign signs.

I've done research off and on for 20+ years. 95% of the things you do find are just a name/date, maybe occupation. Good interesting stuff, but not necessarily noteworthy. Ultimately, you answer one question "where did he come from" and get two more questions, "Now where did they come from". It is a never ending puzzle.

But that 5% have some fascinating stories. I have found great history, scandal, war stories, gruesome deaths, cowboys, indians, Patriots, tories, rich, poor, kings, beggars.

All this has given me perspective on both the past and the present.
I have old mobile too.

I can't speak to what I do not know about and I am not going to make assumptions on what CHS did or didn't do. CHS has to defend themselves and/or live with the penalties.

However, I am a parent of a kid who was a back-up the past 4 years, and I can tell you what I do know.

The heart and soul of this team were not all-stars but rather the lunch-pail type kids that practiced hard and played hard. I know you all don't have my perspective, but you just need to look at the scholarship offers to know that these weren't highly recruited athletes.

The highest recruited guys (Currently there is a lineman and a receiver) are but 2 and they weren't around during the 2017 alleged time frame. The guys from the past 4 years were not your typical all-stars.

I feel for the kids who worked hard, overcame obstacles, and went out champions only to have their accomplishments smeared. I have told my son that I don't care what LHSAA, the media or random internet folks say. He and his team are champions.

While I do think this reveals CNN's primary modus operandi, the way I interpreted the Matt Gaetz reference was in the form of a definition by hypothetical and not a definition by example.

Again, I agree that CNN is biased and needs to be called out for it.

Apparently it is racist just to call someone Black.

In the first place, what even is “woke supremacy?”

After years of making up words and theories and changing dictionary definitions, the left now complains that the right is making up a new terms to counter their made up words. Because racism. And because he's black, he should know better.

I haven't study Tim Scott much but a while ago I did watch a series of his Senate Floor speeches where he described being profiled and singled out for his race. He is a reasonable man who recognizes biases and racism exist. But he also recognizes that the woke movement has overly militant and "holier than thou" voices.
wow. I haven't thought of him in years. But just this morning I was watching a youtube video where Paul Thorn takes the stage with a Marvelous Marvin Hagler t-shirt.

I'd say men of color between colored women and white lesbians.

...But perhaps you have to separate the Black and other persons of color.

...but perhaps all should be equal or equitable or something too.

and not that I have a say in anything but when I look at my skin, it isn't really white, jussayin.
Great... Now I have to cancel Geico too.
