We did in New Orleans. Guy had 3 mortgages (2 Banks + SBA loan) and owed about $72,000 more than we purchased for. We put in the offer August 19th and closed December 31st. You have to be willing to wait it out and have patience. My wife was an emotional roller coaster during the whole process because we were close one minute and miles away the next. She "fell in love" with the house which made it much worse for her than me. We did finally close and now have a great house but it is definitely not for everyone. We also had a broker whose husband specializes in short sales and I think that made the difference in the end because GMAC was awful.
Last thing. A bank will RARELY ever make any repairs and so the most you can hope for are "concessions" at the closing.

Personally i would stop paying the bank. You are underwater in a house, that you have limited options to sell. Why throw good money after bad.
Seriously, unless you are broke this is dumb. If you have money then pay your debt.
Jackasses that just give up their property because they are "underwater" piss me off (I am talking generally here). Be a man (if you are 40) and take a couple thousand dollar loss if you are desperate.

Plus we are not like ND or Auburn who make no judgement on issues that are easily in the coaches power to fix.
Please explain

BTW: Don't forget to include ND fans when you mention delusional. You guys have been living off of media hype for 15 years.
ND fans have been pretty silent the last two years after we got beat up two straight BCS games (and all those bowl games since the 93 season). Nor has there been a lot of griping from ND fans for being unranked at 5-2 (I dont think that ND should be ranked at this point as they lost to a mediocre MSU and UNC). As far as media hype, I will refrain from addressing this for fear of a hijacking of my own post.
So let me get this straight

LSU's record the last 7 years:
2007: 12-2 (won NC)
2006: 11-2
2005: 11-2
2004: 9-3
2003: 13-1 (won NC)
2002: 8-5
2001: 10-3
So let me get this straight, two losses and suddenly people are outraged because ____________? For all the years people on this board mocked Bama fans, it seems LSU fans have become as delusional as those very same fans.
How is it that LSU fans will always boast how strong and talented the SEC is and yet when they lose to two of the strongest teams in the SEC it is unacceptable. Yes, I understand how much talent LSU has, but come on, get a grip and realize that you cant have it both ways.

My body suffered greatly while Joe Dean was the AD. I blame him for the entire mess that was the 90's. What a dumbass. So damn cheap and thought if we could just go 7-4 that would be a great year. My blood boils every time I think of him.
He did hire Saban :dunno:

However, what about for individuals with $100 million or more in net worth. What do with the cash portion of their wealth - treasuries???
WSJ Article
That's one way I suppose

He wasn't even the CIF player of the year as a senior.
2006 (Sr.) 15 games
7 rushing TDs
Passing 194/281 69.0%
3,428 Yards
49 Passing Tds
6 Interceptions
Yeah, he sucked

How much could you get for a pair of lower levels to the MNC game?
For the Orange Bowl NC Game, expect the lower level tickets (endzones and corners) to go for $1,400 on Stubhub at the peak but remember their fees (15% to seller and 10% to buyer). If it is a great matchup, re: USC vs. TX, the peak will be about $1,800 to $2,000.

or we have CC's which is half the price, just as good, and has free refills on coffee....all a better fit for a college town
Seriously, several of the CC's in Baton Rouge are just filthy and their speed is a joke.
By the way, a medium cup of coffee at CC's costs $2.00 (it is $1.85 at Starbucks).
Anyone ever been audited by the IRS?

Is it random or did you really screw up? You always hear horror stories, but I would like to know how bad it is. Thanks.
