this topic is as relevant as any other for this sports board if you dont like it then dont respond. arky could be a real contender with what they return. plus they have a really good coach who can do more with less talent.

auburn on top will definitely benefit lsu more than bama being up there for three years in a row. the west needs bama to have a shitty season and drop a few games.
i agree, the arkansas game could actually mean a lot this year. they will be improved on o but their defense has a long way to go.

well then for the sake of argument what can you point to on the offensive side of the football that was improved all year long because i think most would agree that the defense was much improved.
its not that ppl defend the coaches, its what they are defending them for.
referring to all boards as a whole and not just this one. sorry.
Unbelievable

Dont post often but I read the boards a lot. Just want to say that i am amazed at the number of ppl that still defend miles and the offensive coaching staff after such a horrible season of 3 and outs. How long have we been discussing why players are not playing and why certain recruits dont pan out. There is a trend occurring with this football program. Everyone can argue the winning pct and bring up other bullshite arguments but no one can honestly say that even in 07 the team played to its potential. I want this program to stay on top more than anyone but if ppl cant see that we are missing on recruits and putting out an offense with plenty of talent and no productivity then they need to get their head out of their arse.
How did linebackers look???

I know Riley had a pick. Anyone have any info?
other possibles- davenport, loston, minter, calhoun. It may be hard to keep loston off the field if he is as good as everyone says.
btw, I say randle
which true freshman will get the most pt this year???

Arkansas-we have way more talent and weve lost two yrs in a row. its pathetic and I hate living up here.

Just read that he may have decommitted??????????????????? Anyone know if this is true?
He has all the physical tools to be an NFL safety and though he has looked great at times his tackling was horrible during the 2nd half of this year and he was out of position a lot. I think some of his problems may have been the result of bad coaching/poor fundamentals. He was a good safety for us in 07 and he really dropped off this year. Kind of makes me think he could still develope into a decent player.

Anyone know if he is ok? Saw him go down and it looked pretty bad. Did he come back in?
Rahim and Tyson
I agree with you that he has made some great recruiting and coaching moves while he has been here as far as surrounding himself with a good staff. His coaching ability is still suspect though. he seems to be a great guy with a lot of character but you would have to agree that some of his decisions this past year were not smart. I think he has made the right moves to turn things around, I just hope we dont see any more balls thrown to the end zone on third and one against the worst run d in the conference. Then again I really dont know what calls he is allowed to make with the offense.
yeah but what about when he went for it on 4th and 23?????????????????????????? Or the third and 1 against arky?
He may not throw any passes but I hope he gets a few more carries than usual. he was awesome against alabama.
