Obviously it seems everyone believes Paul is gone but.....
what would it take for CP3 to stay and how do u think we could do it?

I think if we could bring in Brandon Roy maybe trade away D-West, DC, and a draft pick then your looking at

paul, mt5, roy, pondexter, okafor...wait till peja leaves and build around that

what yall think?

Do you really believe that is going to get you Brandon Roy?

Teams like Portland smell blood in the water. They are NOT going to deal with us under any circumstances unless Paul is involved.

They want us to stay under pressure and lose Paul, not get better and keep him.

We pretty much CAN'T get a whole lot better because of Paul going public with this.

Chances are high he stays.

People forget it means jack shite if Chris Paul says "I want to play somewhere else." The dotted line he signed a few seasons ago means something.

I'm actually fine with Paul doing this. He is calling Shinn out for being the horrible owner he is.....he runs this franchise like a mom and pop general store, and Paul is finally saying enough is enough. You either sell the team to Chouest (who is committed to winning) or you don't.....but Shinn is the real problem, not Paul. I wouldn't want to play for Shinn either.

Klaus i completely agree...paul said if the hornets are not commited to winning a championship then he wants out...the ownership trading paul after that comment makes it seem like the hornets are not committed to winning

by the way i know thats not enough to get roy...i was just asking what different "all star" players the hornets could get to keep paul in new orleans
