Actually, I have been through one in the gulf and one in the outer banks, and one in Charleston. Yea, it gets rough but not nearly as compared to the ones in the gulf

app st. scored 6 points in the entire second half vs michigan

Michigan made some adjustments at the half that improved their ability to defend us. Evidently, not well enough. With less than two minutes left, we were behind - marched the field in a little over a minute. We opted for a field goal on first down with 30 seconds left to go up.

LSU fans really aren't giving UM their props. We beat them, bruised their ego. They had a rough couple of games after the upset. Then they recovered and had a fine season. They were a lot more star-studded then than you are this year. Everyone says they are slow and speed wins over size. They were fast enough to take down FL in their bowl.

Writing it off to Michigan being ill prepared or overlooking us must feel like a warm security blanket you can snuggle with at night.

This lack of acknowledgment and bad karma is gonna bite ya.

I maintain - App wins 28-24

Kitty Stir Fry! Kitty Stir Fry!
I'm reminded of a place we have in Boone. I'm sure you have a place like this in BR. Ours is called Mama Lu's. Three words. "Kitty Stir Fry!"

killerApp, you may be right with a few players on the field, but overall, LSU will be much stronger and much faster than a team of your stature. It is just the facts of large conference programs versus smaller ones.

Dallas - thanks for the well wish. I think you make a good point - and I think that was UM's premise as well. Our A players would likely not make LSU's roster - but then again, we don't need the LSU type size/strength for the majority of our season. We only need it for one game - this year, that's you. So, our guys will peak for this game and then again in the latter part of the season. Last year, it was UM. We got physically clobbered against Michigan last year. We came out of there battered and bruised and didn't really recover until half way through the season. That was ok because we followed with a D2 school and a few lesser 1AA programs. The depth and size will help you in week 6. Week 1, all bets are off.
LSU fans, you are great. I don't think we App fans have ever had this much fun bantering with an opponent. I'd be remiss if I didn't say we as a whole, have a ton of respect for your school, coach, and team - and now the fans. Some of your predictions are pretty outlandish - but I love the optimism.

One thing you a lot of ya'll don't seem to get - we WILL score on you - and more than 10 points. We'll be in the 20s or 30s with few if any field goals. There is no comparison to the team that was there in 05. This offense knows how to put points on the board. So, it comes down to our ability to stop you from scoring - and stopping you from scoring comes down to sheer will, physical ability, and determination. We know we have the will and determination. The test will how much faster and stronger your guys are than ours.

I predict it is close. I simply don't think you are THAT much stronger or faster than us.

28-24 App
