Filling holes around foundation

I’ve got 2 fairly deep holes right up against the foundation of my house. I believe it was an animal that created them. I tried filling them with sand and rock, and they stayed plugged for over a year. After a big rain they collapsed. Now I can’t tell how far down they go.
What kind of professional does this kind of job? Thank you

Find a dry or wet (sand) pump truck in your area. Pretty common in new orleans to pump sand under raised homes, and houses with settling issues.

Slight highjack. Anyone know how many inches of slab are typically exposed around a house? The land around my house has sunk a good bit over the years and the previous owner never addressed it. I am planning on adding a good bit of fill, I'm just not sure how much slab should be exposed from the top of the slab to the soil level.
