Phoenicia Gourmet doesn't get any mention in the seafood category?! The Half Shell is good, but there are better places.

The Hook Up should've been on the best outdoor dining list.

Ocean Springs and Gulfport have the best bar scenes right now. The Beer House in Ocean Springs has a good selection. Government St. Grocery is a good spot too (only 6-8 taps).

Kilted Kelly's in Gulfport has something like 40 taps, but the selection was pretty meh last time I went. That was a year ago, so a lot has changed with beer laws in MS since then.

Lazy Magnolia just released their summer seasonal (Belgian-style golden ale). Should be on tap at some bars.

Also a brewpub just opened next to The Dock in Gulfport (Mississippi Brewing Company). 7 different beers there, but make sure to check their hours. They aren't open everyday.

Closest I know of is Florida. It can be found in destin and throughout the panhandle.

I was in Cottage Hill Package in Mobile yesterday. Alabama just got Southern Tier. Didn't have the creme brulee, and I didn't ask if they were expecting any.

Tyler's in Durham has a great beer selection. The food is nothing special but not bad. It's also located in a pretty cool development right by the Durham Bulls ballpark

Where to find canebrake six packs in NOLA

Posted by nquint1 on 12/15/12 at 8:54 pm
I'm going to the Saints game tomorrow. Anyone know where I can pick up a six pack of canebrake? Figured I'd try Steins, but I don't know where else to go if they don't have any.
Call Me Al - Paul Simon

Grazing In The Grass - Instrumental version by Hugh Masekela LINK

Wanna Be Starting Something - MJ

From The Corner To The Block - Galactic

For something more recent, I'd go with Home by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. I think that would be easy to pull off.

Title IX

Found this petition today for a "common-sense reform" to Title IX. Figured it was worthy of the rant.
