Thanks for the info
Actually his passing tapes were very impressive. Look at the type of passes he threw: Long, intermediate, out patterns post patterns and crossing patterns. then compare that to some of the other QB's we are recruiting.... i think we found a real GEM!

Sam Gibson

A few questions arose about the committment Sam Gibson..........
He is a 6'2" 200 4.4 40yd CB, who from what I can see from his tape on youtube, can play ANY skill positon, who won the state 6A championship as a junior, who is an honor student with a qualifying ACT score raises some questions...

1. How in the planet did neither Alabama, Auburn, nor leach USC Trojans offer this kid a scholarship?
2. Why is he only listed as a 3 star athlete?
3. Why is he not listed as a QB, because what i can see from his 7:00 min highlight (minus his senior year) he seems to be one hell of a passer.

Just seems a little too good to be true
Does anyone have more information.
If you are considered a top recruit, and you do not get into LSU or TECH, (If your goal is to get to the NFL)and you want to stay in LA. it is smarter to go to Grambling.
Grambling gets the same if not more national attention, and Nationally televised Games than LA TECH. The competition is still Div 1(though AA), so it is respected by NFL Scouts. One of the Boosts of Grambling's success came from ER who sent more than 200 players to the NFL.
