Miami in '88. Rain was coming in sideways. Not so great a game however. Miami won 44-3.

florida st. in 92 was a torrential downpour and amp lee rushed for about 300 fricking yards against us.

Worst was against the U in 88 or 89. They beat the crap out of us and it poured so hard at one time I couldn't see the other side of the stadium.

Well, in 1980 it must have rained 3-4 inches and we beat a decent Tulane team, 24-7.

"Valient Effort" vs then #1 Florida State in 1991.

I went to the game with my dad. I think he drank a fifth of turkey on the bus from Opelousas and in the stadium. Pops was not a happy camper.

Not sure if I really count the Oregon St. game as a true rain game.......as it pretty much was stopped following the delay......

No question for me it's USC '79. Outplayed the #1 team all night long only to lose a heartbreaker in the last minute. Infamous no-call illegal procedure on 4th down scoring play.
That same game if played today would make the ESPN instant classics for sure.

At one point Dalton Hilliard returned a kick to about midfield at which point he slid into a muddy puddle as went past three would be tacklers for even more yards.
