I carry a .40 glock 27 or a .380 roger lcp. It all depends on what I'm wearing. I have owned handguns for years and had what I thought would have been a good ccw but after I took the class I realized that I didn't know as much as I thought. It's ok to look around and have an idea about what you want but I would borrow a gun or rent one for the class and then you will be able to make a better decision.
They did the class at the Woodworth shooting range. I don't know where they are located but I will find out when we get home.

I just bought a Glock 27 Gen 4 for $525 from To-Morrow's weapons in Pinville
I took it with Gary and Jeremy Morrow with To-Morrow weapons out of Pineville. The class was 8.5 hrs. we shot 50 rounds but anyone who wanted to shoot some more could stay and shoot. They were pretty in depth with the class.
I have a Ruger P89DC stainless 9MM for sale. It has had about 100 rounds thru it for $400. It comes with all original paperwork, ruger case, lock, 3-10rd magazine's w/speed loader, a set of custom grips, and a uncle Mikes belt holster.
As of now, we are planning on going to the rockerfeller and being there by 6am.
