I was a huge Star Wars fan growing up. Whenever the Acolyte came out I thought, “Who in the hell writes this slop?”
So I looked up the creator of the series, Leslye Headland, and stumbled on an interview she did where she explained how she got the idea for the show. It was a mix of Kill Bill and Frozen. I couldn’t believe that this person made millions of dollars to come up with such a stupid idea.
“I can come up with a better idea for a story by putting two movies together,” I told myself. The first two stories that popped in my head were No Country For Old Men and 12 Years a Slave. So I wrote an entire book just to prove how talentless Leslye Headland is.
