Just wanted to first off apologize for being loud and wrong! So feel free to call me whatever you please!! lol. Also wanted to congratulate the fanbase because you guys deserve this hire. I won’t out my sources but they won’t be retained so that’s kinda sad but it’s life.

Part of me really projected the latter of that Brian Kelly hire onto lane Kiffin. From how that marriage ended to what the governor said and talking to people I for one didn’t want to be let down and didn’t want to go through that again. I have made donations on behalf of alumni and ready to support Coach Kiff through his journey. I hope he can bring what I got to taste in 2019.

Geaux Tigers !!

We’ve been so blinded by trying to get the splash hire we are back to ground zero post ed o era. I just wish fans would take a step back and just see logic and not think about this emotionally. Do i want lane ? You damn right!!! But let’s just look at the facts man. LSU is going to need 2-3 years before we can start competing again that’s just fact. Ole Miss has the resources and talent Right now for what Lane wants to accomplish. Lane is legit toying with emotions from social media to the mcafee show and even the news about it his family in BR. This is lane Kiffin we’re talking about not Kyle whittingham.
Stop logic doesn’t make sense to people who think with their emotions on a 100. I just want to be real not fall victim for the bait that’s all. The biggest issue is fans who are hypnotized by this lane saga will never give the new actual head coach of lsu a fair shot. That’s how bad it’s going to be. “Oh we missed on the lane train so eff this new guy” that’s my problem with this whole thing.
You would wanna kill Joe if you knew his preference for the next HC was. Lol
RC not gonna let you hit bro
Yes but we have to go get a President first. Look whether you liked Woody or not he underachieved when it came to football. I applaud him for his hiring of KM & winning in other sports. However the lifeline of college athletics is FOOTBALL. You cannot underachieve in that regard. Scott Woodward underachieved greatly in football. This is what got him out of LSU not Landry. Landry helping? Not at all. However referring back to the OG question? I know Brooks loves Louisiana and would hear out an offer from LSU he were offered. The guy is a freaking Hammond native and started his career washing dirty laundry for the Tigers bro. We gotta stop with the on paper hires and get people who actually wanna be apart of the solution not the buyouts.
I mean I actually had a good talk with Frank Wilson and co this past week. Seems the clickbait is baiting no?
Who in their right mind would have thought LSU would name Ed Orgeron the permanent coach after Les Miles got canned? Ed Orgeron the guy who got fired at Ole Miss? Couldn’t be right? The guy who went 10-25 at Ole Miss?? No way LSU would hire him right? They gave him a 5 year prove it deal. Incentive based. Whatever world you live in bring it back down to earth. I’m not speaking out of emotion when I name those candidates. I’m speaking out of common sense for the universities financial and athletics future.
There’s a world out there that exists where LSU isn’t willing to spend a boat load of money on the next hire. We haven’t even paid out Ed ORGERON’s buyout in full. The Brian Kelly buyout isn’t even finalized and yet here you are thinking Kelvin Sheppard, Sumrall, & Frank Wilson are unrealistic options. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about football at the college ranks or pros is the money never lies. LSU isn’t in a position to go and throw the brinks truck at someone. Keep your tone down. Screenshot this. We’ve been through it a month ago with “engagement” and here we are.

I know for a Fact lane Kiffin will not leave ole piss unless it’s for Florida but I won’t say why. Let me cook before you try the food. Cause you somewhat might end up liking it.

Figured I’d get heat for this list. Lol

Shep should without a doubt be the first guy you call. He’s worked here played here and knows what the DNA of being an LSU Tiger is like. What’s funny is people will say he has no head coach experience and I’ll tell you this if we don’t grab him you will be sick when an NFL team grabs him in a year or two. This is the new era of football. If you can unlock potential and players will fight for you it doesn’t matter what your track record says you will be successful.

Brent Key is the exact opposite of BK. This BK actually knows how to win the Big Game. Hence the nickname big game Brent! I also think him having an OL background around Saban is a reason why you see Georgia Tech being a physical brand of ball.

Glenn is under the most successful college coach in football right now imo. If you can pick someone from the Saban tree you should. It’s a safe bet and he’ll be able to pull talent from Georgia as well.

Patricia is very similar along the lines of shep. He’s turned that Ohio st defense around and he will be a head coach here in a year or two. I don’t wanna be the school to not even try and at least interview him.

While I agree and would love Lane to LSU. I don’t see lane leaving what he’s built at Ole Miss for any school other than Florida. Lanning won’t leave Oregon. The BIG10 is much more easier and less stressful to coach then being in the sec. 9-3 in the BIG10 gets you a pat on the back. 9-3 in the sec gets you on linked in trynna coach at grambling.

I’m not happy about it but I’m glad you guys are seeing the current players there right. now posting their true feelings on social media. Just glad y'all are finally seeing it. I didn’t wanna put nobody but it’s over now and let’s focus on getting the best possible guy to lead the Tigers.

In this order

Kelvin Shep
Brent Key
Glenn Schumann
Matt Patricia

If he’s willing to take a call

Reason I ask is because I’m interested in opening one. Would love if anyone knew ownership or anyone with ties.

Does anyone remember that donut shop Mr. Ronnie’s? Why’d they close down?
Just wanted to get this football side of things out there just so people don’t think I’m just saying “culture culture culture culture” and not actually giving the details.
Outside of just stating “culture” this is what I see from a football standpoint of LSU.

1) Part of the reason Joe Sloan needs to go is there is no rhythm or rhyme to his offense. He runs so much gadget (screens, rpo) that there is no identity on offense. No type of run game. Do you guys ever watch Nuss in the pocket and say to yourself “please don’t throw a pick” or “man he looks so uncomfortable dropping back to pass” well that’s because this offense isn’t built on a system. It’s reliant on scripted calls. If you watch Alabama, Tennessee, ole Miss, Georgia, etc. these premier offenses do run gadgets but that isn’t their foundation. They use it as a change up not their bread and butter. They don’t live and die by these plays. They live on a system where they pound the rock effectively and the QB can get to a 3 read progression during the drive in their passing game.

2) Berry needs to be seeing more snaps. He’s the best pure RB LSU has right now and he’s a DOWNHILL BACK. Durham needs to be used as a scat back. A guy you get him the ball on checkdowns and let him create in space. CD shouldn’t be your bellcow.

3) That offensive line is so soft it’s so damn dissapointing. No movement or physicality in the run game none of that. Just remember the last couple runs of OL that have been drafted outta lsu were recruited by O. He knew to find assholes on the LOS. Every Tuesday in 2019 even the week of the championship we were having full on brawls in practice with the offense. 9 on 7 period I remember Florida week we stopped mid period because the OL & DL started throwing fists at each other. Adrian removed Tyler Shelvin out the a gap late and it turned into a brawl. Not saying for this team to be a ufc team but this was the sh*t that took place every Tuesday even if we were undefeated. We wanted to kill each other at practice. That’s what made us physical.

4) You either play Harold Perkins on ball or off ball but you better decide quick because the schematics of trying to make the kid Abdul carter one play then Devin white another play is hurting the kids development and stock. He’s a good player but let him master one kick first before you teach him a 1000 different kicks.

5) LASTLY, get UNDER CENTER. Yes it’s not freaking pretty i get it this is the era of RPO, spread, no huddle etc. but lsu needs to get outta these gun looks cause the run game stinks and these tackles can’t hold on for dear life in the pass game. At least being under center gives you better angles in the run game and creates opportunities for explosives in the play action game.

Haha as much as I’m glad the haka was monumental in BR that won’t win us games. Finding someone who understands the culture and DNA of Louisiana will get this team back to where it needs to be.

I actually did. Check the interview I did with Doucett in early 20/21 I said players were entitled and change needed to happen. One thing about me is I will always call a spade a spade. Ed is my guy but I called him out publicly to for underachieving post championship era.

Trust me I’m not a troll. I lived in Perkins rowe behind Texas de Brazil during my time at lsu. Spent my off days at Labeurge splitting aces. Partied my arse off with my buddies at Bogies before they shut down. I don’t got time to troll. I got time to see LSU win another ring.
