Great college town. Bars and restaurants in great area. We stayed in a house walking distance to the stadium. The stadium was small but nice. Look into flying SW into Tampa and driving down to Siesta or Longboat Key both by Sarasota. Or Marco Island. Cheaper to fly in Tampa than Sarasota. Beautiful beaches, great restaurants and warm. Siesta and Marco beaches have been recognized as some of the best. ...

Absolutely agree with Nino's. Excellent food, quiet - romantic - small restaurant. But, if on Thurs, Fri, Sat nite, make reservations. Mansur's would be my second choice. If you want loud and lively, definitely Ruffino's. ...
