While they do blow calls obviously, there is generally a standard across all of the games with respect to a penalty. The NFC West doesn't have a different standard for PI than the AFC South. College needs that

Stetson is sort of the prototypical NFL backup. Willing to work, High Football IQ, tough. I hope he gets a shot one day but yes, he is the sort that will have a good career as a backup. I will say Kirby has way more success with the guys that may not have the 5 star attributes, but are tough and want to be Dawgs above all else. Of the last 3 Beck was probably the most physically talented, but...
I mean that's high praise. Sounds like Stetson Bennett version 2.0, which I don't know a Georgia fan alive wouldn't be happy with

You had the catch that hit the ground in the SEC championship. That was a game changer. Tyler Simmons was omsides. You committed the false start and we got called for the penalty. Nothing crazy there. Anyway, that's 2 in a row.

Yeah I'm surprised someone bothered to record that among all the gushing about how great the losing QB was.
So why wasn't the false start called then? You also have the "catch" in the SEC Championship that clearly hit the ground and wasn't reviewed. Yeah, we pretty clearly got a call Saturday. So what, you've gotten plenty against is in far more important games. Kind of funny to see the melts when the shoe icon the other foot.
BTW, you still could have gotten points you don't take a sack on the next play...or got points one of the 6 times you were in UGA territory to include a pick deep in our territory from which you went backward. And you of course could have gotten the ball back late) and we have seen that movie too many times) but your player made an inexplicable penalty.
So yeah, pretty egregious call...Bama still got outplayed and outcoached. You guys were running it pretty well. Ironically I think if you lean on that, you win. But you didn't. That's 2 in a row.

That play isn't what lost you the game anyway. You were in Field Goal range still. It was the sack you took on the next play and of course the undisciplined nonsense at the end that kept you from getting one more shot at the end which as we have seen in the recent history of this game is a big deal. Anywho, enjoy telos's at home
