Feel free to stop by and hangout for beers or Jell-O shots! In Parking Lot B, right next to Blatt. Look for LSU bar and Old Milwaukee tent. Ask for Aaron or Ray ????

I agree!
Osborne almost got ran out of Nebraska because he couldn't beat Oklahoma. He actual quietly interviewed for Colorado job because he thought he was going to be fired. Kelly's ND team are not LSU's teams. The bigger concern is the shooting themselves in the foot with discipline and penalties.

Great point, again it was just my opinion. I think he brings a wealth of knowledge and surrounding himself with the right coaches. I think fans (including me) are quick to hate on him but dude has made some solid accomplishment so far and think LSU is in a better spot than 4 years ago.

I became a LSU fan because of CWS in 09 a gentleman and his family invited me down to Baton Rouge for a game. We went down to a night game in Death Valley in 2010. I was amazed and started following more and more. I went to road games and back to Baton Rouge and the Natty. I still stay in touch with that gentleman and he came back up 2 years ago and we hosted him and his son for his sons bachelor party. Ever since then I throw an LSU tailgate at CWS inviting any Tiger fans that make it to Omaha!

Bo did it with John Blakes talent. Once Bo started to do it on his own it showed. We are snake bitten and I am convinced we will never be in the playoff.

It has to be so much harder because if you have a good coordinator, coach, recruiter, etc. someone is always pouching. Not only that but you need to be a great recruiter, great transfer portal recruiter, and hang on to what you are trying to build. The days of loyalty with fans, players, staff and universities is gone. Everyone wants instant gratification.

Like hiring Scott Frost???????? LSU is not a risk program.

I'm not defending him, I thought I made that clear. Hence I said he would never win a National Championship. Realistically who would you like LSU to get as a coach that could get them to CFP in two years?

I would love that, I think were going to Dallas for Neb vs LSU baseball. So I can blackout!

We were loyal to that team to a fault, meaning we always wanted to tie it back to the 94-95 teams in someway. We handed the job over to a coordinator (Solich). You know who wanted it......Barry Alvarez, he went on to be successful at WI. Then as years passed and the game evolved, yet we tried to stay loyal to what made us relevant the 90's. After everything great Tom Osborne did for for Nebraska he has only hurt the program since. Nebraska needs to cut ties with him.

So I am a Nebraska fan who will always cheer for LSU. We have played the coaching carousel for years. I know a lot of you will say LSU is not Nebraska, but go back and looked at when Osborne retired. We were arguably the #1 program in the country. I understand football has changed and that we haven't been relevant since. We also wanted coaches fire for not producing, lack of talent, etc. But also unrealistic expectations.
Again not only do I not think BK is the right fit, I have never liked him. His teams are always undisciplined. His teams have always had tons of penalties and shoot themselves in the foot. Also let's not forget about he can never win the big game. He is a Big 10 coach at best, but he also has made some very good hires who know LSUs culture. He came into a lack of talent, it's not like he walked into the Bama job. The cupboards weren't full. He beat Bama year one, went to SEC championship also. Either way you fold it he poached/coached a Heisman QB year two. His D sucked and fired that entire staff. Wasn't afraid to make changes. This year hasn't been great, the defense has showed signs of improvement. He has a top 4 recruiting class next year, I feel he is trying to make the right moves. I think what he has done in 3 years is extremely difficult and also impressive. BK has always left a program better then he found it, there's something to be said about that. Also keep in mind a lot of LSU did want Jimbo Fisher, Billy Napier, and Lincoln Riley.......
I believe LSU is a Top 3 job in all of college football, but how many active coaches have a National Championship as a head coach right now? Kirbi, Dabo, Mack Brown ( could be forgetting someone). How long did it take them to get to that level? I don't think Kelly will ever win one. But who do you want and how long will you give them? I do think he has the program in the right direction.
Again just my two cents, be careful what you wish for.
