I passed there right after it happened. Not sure what happened to the guy but before the cops showed up he was laid out face down in the grass on the side of the road. Cops showed up and someone passed by and gave them a towel to cover him.

Pretty sure each generation has done something similar.
Our candy was made specifically to pretend these things. It used to be candy cigarettes and big league chew.

re: Ever catch something from a band member throwing stuff to the crowd at a concert?
Posted by THE Muc Bond on 1/13/24 at 5:07 pm to CutTheCord
I have some guitar picks from a few bands. Also caught drumsticks from incubus and Sevendust. Was able to meet sevendust after show and had them to sign the drum stick.
Best thing I got was a beer from deftones singer chino. He came on stage and cracked open a beer and handed it to me in the front of the pit area.
Completely different type of show, but I saw Garth Brooks on the early 90’s. After the show he handed someone a guitar that was used in the show. I thought that was pretty cool.

re: How did you get started being healthy?
Posted by THE Muc Bond on 12/30/23 at 1:19 pm to Boss13
Simple changes can really help kickstart.
-cut out sodas and alcohol
-drink water
-get regular sleep
In addition to that, easy food changes. Diets don’t really work and are easy to fail. Eat more proteins to keep you full longer. Chicken, Turkey, salmon, cod, lean beef like flank steak paired with grilled or steamed vegetables. You can make infinite combos with different seasonings.
I made these changes then started an exercise routine in January and have lost 30 lbs.
Once you start feeling better it’s easy to keep going. Remember it takes time and won’t happen overnight.

Agreed. Had mine about 8 years ago. Whole procedure took about 10 minutes. Incision was so small that it didn’t require any stitches.
What this post said. Do absolutely nothing for a few days. Take an extra day of nothing just in case. You may feel like you can do things sooner than the doctor tells you, but do NOT. I made the mistake of walking my dog about a block 3 days later and regretted it. Felt like something was trying to pull my balls out for a week after that.
Also make sure you get at least two negative sperm checks done to make sure you are totally sterile. You are not in the clear immediately. My doctor told me I needed to ejaculate 15-20 times before getting to a zero count.
8 years later, no regrets.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Someday Never Comes
Fogerty stated in 2013 that the song is about his parents' and his own divorce:
When I wrote this song, my life was pretty chaotic. I knew my marriage was going to break up. My band was falling apart. I was beginning to sense the darkness that was Fantasy Records. This song was inspired by my parents' divorce when I was a young boy and the effect it had on me. At the time, they told me, "Someday, you'll understand." The truth of this is that you never do and I found myself facing this as a parent. The irony was painful and inescapable.
