Friday Night Lights

There will be an epic 5A battle in the Florida Panhandle Friday night. Between Pensacola Catholic High & West Florida High. Both teams will
be fielding good talent.. sure hope Baton Rouge will be there to check it out.

Being a youth football coach & helping with high school, I may not agree with everything Coach Miles & Chief does.. even wonder what the heck, but dang.. calling them out, that's not right. They both got my vote. I hope my kids over here in the panhandle get the honor to play for those two coaches.

I STILL HUNT IN NORTHWEST FL & SOUTH AL., STILL HAVE A FEW TRAIL DOGS THOUGH..I RESCUED A BIG HEADED 1 YR TREEING WALKER FROM THE POUND, NAMED AMOS. 1st DAY OUT, I PUT HIM ON A TRAIL,& GALLOPS OFF ON IT, I'M SCREAMING "AMOS" !!!! TRYING TO GET HIM ON A DIFFERENT ROUTE, DOG STOPS, STARTS & CHASING A BUTTERFLY.. I'M SCREAMING, AMOS, @#$* AMOS !!! DOG TURNS HIS HEAD WHILE IN FULL GALLOP CHASING THE BUTTERFLY AND NAILS THE BIGGEST WHITE OAK TREE AROUND. AT THIS POINT I'M HOARSE AND HE'S SITTING ON THE GROUND IN FRONT OF THE TREE...LOL, SORRY JUST HAD TO SHARE..

Don't think he did to bad - 4.7 in the 40 , 4.77 in the shuttle, his vertical was 26" & his throw was 36'.

That NCSA was at the combine we were at this past weekend. I saw what you wrote about them, what do you recommend for help recruiting?
According to the nike/espn coach, he score in the upper percentile for 10th graders.

Not sure if you grace these walls of the rant. I just want to apalogize for all the bashing that takes place... with all the talent that you recurit year in and year out we exepect different results . I also want to thank you as a coach for the coach you are. I hope my three boys end up playing for you , or a coach like you. keep up the good work coach. :geauxtigers:

I'm no offensive coach but why can't we get more speed going.. line up sheppard in the slot & holiday in the back field. I see all this talent on the sidelines doing what? How about some of you rant coaches, what's your thoughts? :confused:

Just got in from football practice, me & my youngest get on the tube & watch some ole lsu play.(Landry,Hester,Pittman ...)I'm really hoping the wizard & the warlock get us back to what we like to see on both sides of the ball. I defintly see the talent. What's everyone else's thoughts? :geauxtigers:
What are the chances of getting this stud to play on the bayou? Man can this guy fly around
