All very thankful for Texas Tech:

Mike Vrabel
Dianna Russini
Lane Kiffin
Campbell's ultimate goal is to get Tech into the SEC or B1G. This antisocial behavior is basically him admitting that's never going to happen.
B1G never offered membership -- "junior" or otherwise -- to Missouri. You stayed in the Big 12 because that was your only option, until the SEC needed a second team to pair with the Aggies a year later.

Colorado was already gone

I've already posted an article referencing the Colorado AD's statement that Missouri openly begging for B1G membership the end of 2009 is what spooked Colorado to the PAC.

Feel free to provide any sort of article or quote that contradicts what I said.

Is that the narrative we are running with now?

Why not? Here's Colorado's AD stating Missouri's flirting with the Big 10 as the reason they started looking at the PAC.

quote:

In December of 2009, Nixon made the first of several comments in support of Missouri exploring a move.

"This is not something that should be kept on the sports page and treated with the back of the hand," he said. "We have an obligation to make our schools as excellent as they can be."

Speaking explicitly of a move to the Big Ten, he said, "It's worth looking at."

Bohn didn't say which of Nixon's comments got him going, but the governor's most controversial comments came days later.

"I'm not going to say anything bad about the Big 12, but when you compare Oklahoma State to Northwestern, when you compare Texas Tech to Wisconsin, I mean, you begin looking at educational possibilities that are worth looking at," Nixon said.

These statements from Missouri were the first ones of any Big 12 indicating instability. Why should they get a pass?
Mizzou was the first Big 12 school to openly pine for membership in another conference. Nebraska followed suit and got the invitation your school so desperately wanted. This was before the PAC/B12 South talks and way before the Longhorn Network.

And don’t say it’s about money

Lol. it is 100% about the money.

Texas is intentionally choosing not to spend dry powder on high school players who won't play in the SEC for 2 years. Sark learned that lesson last year. Elko will learn it as well.

pretty hilarious -- and 100% predictable -- how Texas Tech has vaporized any goodwill they garnered from the Sark vs. Tech HC "schedule us" troll. It's a garbage university full of losers who don't know how to act.

It's this sort of behavior that destroyed the SWC

SWC died because its media footprint was Texas and Arkansas. So it couldn't command the same TV money as other conferences. Texas, Texas A&M, and Arkansas weren't going to fall behind just to ensure a few shitty private schools had a conference to play in.

That's still on you, sip

You’re welcome.
