agree that the environment that forged these rivalries is long gone. there are big games every week now and the audience is very fragmented. ironically, players switching sides adds a bit of juice to them.

started a guy who's been out for a month or so with mono and he immediately loaded the bases and then gave up 2 RBI single. brought Grubbs in but he couldn't put out the fire. we continue to not be able to throw strikes
