I mean what else do you do in the last meaningful game of the year and you’re down 20+ points ina. Game you were never supposed to win? What does he have to lose. He went out there and tried (and did) make some big plays. If that’s how he plays every game every down then that’s a problem but I don’t see any issue with him slinging it around yesterday

What should we be ranked considering we just beat #11 by 25 points. This isn’t a computer anymore. The committee is aware teams get better along the way and we lost our first game as a brand new team and coaching staff to a team who played a week sooner. We beat FSU by 30 today. Or other lone loss is #1 ranked Tennessee

The days of the reputation we gained are in the past unfortunately. When they priced out the common man and going to the games started being a business treat or plainly for social attention has ruined it. Instead of a die hard fan in the seats who will raise hell all 4 quarters you have a bunch of businessmen who are too proper to be yelling over a football game and leave at halftime.

Perkins is different. And the sack on that one play on dart where he missed at first is a prime example. 99% of guys would have been out of the play after missing. Perkins sped up as he missed changed direction in the blink of an eye and caught him. I don’t like playing contain on him bc then you just give him time to throw. I trust Perkins to rush young and out the pressure on him knowing if he does miss he’ll still be right there in his face l.

It’s not so much his top speed I think. Rarely does a player get to that anyway. His acceleration is immediate and that’s what makes him so fast. Not saying he isn’t fast too speed but the acceleration is what you’re seeing that makes him so impressive.
