re: Eli Holstein question

Get a grip. His parents are from Baton Rouge. They moved to Lafayette because of his moms job. She got offered a job with an anesthesia group when they took over Ocshner in Baton Rouge. They chose Zachary because the anesthesia group is based in Zachary and she said Eli didn’t want to go back to private schools. She works there now and the dad works for the school system. The kid started high school in Zachary in 9th grade. Never went to high school with Walker Howard. She laughs about that story line when asked about it at work. They’re good people and want the best for their kids just like all of you do. Don’t get the continued obsession with the Holstein scared of Howard story and scared to compete. So Alabama was the easier route? He could have gone to a TCU or Baylor for that story line. Come on. Maybe Alabama was just a better choice.
Guess that tweet was put out by Woodlawn? I thought to be considered a powerhouse you had to have at least one state championship, - Woodlawn ever had even one run in the playoffs? Need better reporting than that. Come on.
Guess you weren’t at the scrimmage then. Zachary ones scored at will when Holstein was in. And only time EDW scored was when 2’s and 3’s were going against each other.
Don’t count out Bama making a run for this kid.
Think it comes down to huge tv’s with high definition, air conditioners, and being so crowded in stands. Probably need to move to better experiences in the stadiums rather than maxing out seat capacity.
It’s really getting funny the story about Eli being Walker’s backup at STM. Hard to do when Eli was at Zachary his freshman year. I know his mom from work and she got offered a job back in BR the summer before his freshman year. Family always wanted to get back to BR. Not saying it wasn’t a good move for Eli, but you don’t seem to call a kid scared when he transfers in to LSU - just out, right? I love LSU and would love to see him at LSU. Only thing I’ll say is from listening to little bit his mom says in passing y’all shouldn’t assume you know so much about what he’s thinking from reading articles by reporters who half haven’t even talked to him and comments on this board. Fun to speculate, but probably true about most comments on this board.
Wow. Sounds like a personal issue with the level you took your post on a 17 year old kid, his brother, and his dad. Why don’t you throw his mom and his 6 year old sister into it as well next time. So maybe you and a few others on here are the ones that are scared of Eli. Way more than Eli scared of Walker, or Walker scared of Eli.
