I like Baker also, so we either get him or resign Winston to a decent deal and sign Jarvis Landry. Pick up a few more people in the draft and be golden.

But if we sign Winston to a good deal we can also rebuild the defense over the next couple of years that way if Winston works out, we golden. He does need to grow up some but having him start for now is better than putting Blake Bortles out there lol. Taysom Hill can't be an every down quarterback either right now.

Yes even off injury. You can always put a prove yourself clause in there and stay healthy clause too. He showed promise in the first 7 games big promise so lets see it for a year or so without being injured.

I believe in order for him to stay with the Saints they have to offer at least a 3 year with 20 million a year guaranteed with a 4th year option to resign or void on both sides. He definitely won't take a short-term contract now.

Let's do a 2-year guarantee with a third year to be voided by either side. This way we can truly see what he does to lead a team being healthy. I like Winston and want him to succeed. Just leave Watson alone and show Winston some love.
