I wouldn’t say that’s retarded…it’s more along the lines of being more pragmatic than dramatic.

I’ll leave you with this- the issue is more complicated than the surface allows and your understanding of it, respectfully.

You’d be surprised… But either way I am not talking about lawn guys- I am talking about experienced construction tradesmen who are paid by the job and not by the hour.

The highest paid one I work with made north or 250k last year and the average around 70k per year.

I could give a shite the status of the person doing the job just as long as someone shows up to do it and has the skill set to get it done… and there ain’t ever a honky around.
I voted for all of this, but the vast majority of the population really doesn’t understand that it’s no longer about paying lower wages for unskilled workers…. That was the case 15-20 years ago.

Now it’s there’s nobody else to do the job. Our labor force is drunk, high, on welfare and no longer capable of performing the work. Hence going after contractors for employing illegals will have some serious economic ramifications.

Down vote away/ but I manage (or maybe I don’t, Mr. Fed) and 150 subs- most of which are illegal and if they don’t work most of you have no clue how it will affect your lives.

Deport the criminals, deport the leaches but we better find a way to properly tax those who participate in our economy and give them a chance to assimilate.
I own a lot you can see in the street view. I paid 85 for it. The one this house is on probably went around 140k.

New builds are listing at 300 a foot, selling around 285 a foot, but my opinion is that house will be turned into a duplex before it sells for a million.

You think your landlord just eats all of the expenses without calculating them into your rent?

Bravo, Sir
I’m not looking to have a discussion in May, slick. I’m just posting the obvious now.

But lots of talented players on the field and I hope they win some games. I’ll be watching… but that still doesnt wash the fact they are a shitty team.

You morons saying this is the worst LSU team ever

Life, and sports, are not always fair but scores are kept, so yes this is one of the worst teams in history… regardless of anyone’s emotions.

Also, did you know Vietnam's currency is called dong?

Interesting story, but I would have been satisfied just knowing this.
I’ve bought 4 houses and only put 20percent down once… and only had it to put down twice. Meaning in some situations it may make more sense to an individuals situation to pay PMI and keep your hands on the cash.

Regardless- my first house was a shite hole, my second one was better, my third one was again a little better and my fourth one is pretty nice.

So I’d say start small and work at it like everyone else did before TikTok.
Dude… just logging into to tell you I spit my lunch out reading that.

Hillarious!

Egypt pretty much a shite hole, but one thing that doesn’t help is building owners do not have to pay taxes on a building that is still under construction… so the top floors are hardly ever finished. Hence making it look worse than it is.

re: Boomtown - Bossier City Hotel

Here’s why, duck head-

Boomtown is shite hole… it may even be the one with bathtubs in the actual rooms and a tattoo parlor as its main attraction.

Ive spent maybe a 100 nights in the SBC casinos over the last few years for work and I know the horseshoe is probably the best… so im just trying to randomly help some dude make a better decision.

Horseshoe averages about 50 bucks during the week, has good restaurants, clean rooms and the easiest parking garage to navigate.

Margaritaville is newer… the casino is probably nicer (I don’t gamble), but the rooms are bright to the point of being uncomfortable and it has more scum bags and degenerate gamblers loitering around… probably from boardwalk.

The casual restaurant on the Shreveport side suck, parking is a hassle… and it’s easier to get killed in Shreveport.

So sorry for helping- douche

Stay at the Horseshoe.

You’re welcome

What I can’t wrap my head around is if home prices are rising- why are people going down with the ship?

Why not just easily unload your asset, maybe stack a little cake on the way out, and live to fight another day?

It’s a bit too hard for me to believe.

re: Imposter syndrome, anyone have it?

Leveling up is intimidating, it can fill you with self doubt and as you say make you feel like an imposter… But once you do it and have a look around you realize everyone else is winging it as they go too.
You guys have no idea… but the funny thing is that those of us who are successful in sales also have no idea how you office hero’s and cubicle warriors are able to even survive.

I’ll take setting my own schedule, working maybe 30 hours a week, a nice expense report and making three and four times the people who tell me “no” any day of the week.
It’s like choosing between health coverage: low premium/high deductible Vs high premium/low deductible…. They’ve already figured out how to screw you and disguise it either way.

But I have the reserve and it pays for itself if you eat out and travel. I run work expenses through mine and in turn it offsets a large portion of personal travel. Otherwise I would just pass on both.

Yosemite in September…

I’ll shut up and listen, thanks.
Best advice you’ll get today-

You guys bitching about work place enemies need to get outside your box and go sell something. Double, maybe triple your income… work less hours, keep your own schedule and be out of the office.

You may fail once or twice, but eventually you will get the hang of it and land at the right place.
